I am in the midst of finishing my basement and would like to know what kind of flooring they use in the body combat dvd. I have the BB plyo mat but I find it really difficult to pivot on it and it is not big enough so I would like to section off a part of the basement for the proper floor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Happy New Year

i think the best would be laminate or hardwood. my basement has laminate and it works well. we also have foam floor padding for our weight section but for my plyo/cardio, i move the pads out of the way.

Thanks, we put laminate flooring upstairs and it was so slippery that when I did the Turbo Fire Dvd I had a hard time trying not to slip. I contacted Les Mills and they told me what kind of flooring they use in GoodLife so i'm going to check into that. Thanks again.

Hi, we are also in the process of re-finishing (it was 1/2 done) our basement, including our workout room. I purchased 2 sets of black interlocking mats from Dicks Sporting goods - the 3/4 inch think ones. They are good and I can pivot on them, but I do wish they were a bit better when I jump.

I'm never going to get a floor like the ones at the gyms made for these types of workouts so this and a really good pair of shoes is the closest I'm going to get.

Let us know what you find out about GoodLife.

Hope it helps.
