Holiday sebatical.....restart?
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue, but went on a holiday sebatical...like three weeks with no working out at all. I was on week four of phase two. Wondering if it is best to restart the whole program or pick up where I left off? I was doing doubles as well.

My opinion is at least to start back up at the beginning of phase 2...that is a good amount of time off...let me know if you are looking for a support team and any assistance...

Hey man, new year, start it over. You need the benefits of doing it all consecutively to really get the results. But at the end of the day, the best thing to do is the thing that will get you fired up and keep you motviated. End of story. emoticon

Thanks for the responses! If I was to restart phase one, do you think it would be OK to add the cardio of doubles despite the fact that is not started until phase 2?

if you have the energy then yes...make sure you calculate the extra calories burned in the cardio so you know you are eating enough....

Coach MJM is right - it's all dependent on how much you can eat. it's really important that you don't overtrain. by adding another 500 burned calories, you'd have to add that to your daily food consumption.

Appreciate that. When I first started, my recommended intake was 3500 calories. I trimmed that to 2500 as 3500 seemed excesive. When I started doubles, I was actually gaining weight, alot of which could be attributed to muscle, but was wondering if I was not eating enough. I am currently 5'10" and 215 Lbs. Any recommendations on a caloric number?
