I've completed a round of Insanity, and I am starting another today. I feel like a wimp every time I workout, but I am always trying to do more each time. Compete with yourself ... keep pushing play!!!

Way to go Angie!! We all feel like wimps at the beginning. In fact, for the longest time I swear when I did the floor drills I looked like a wild boar in heat, grunting away like crazy. NOT pretty, haha!!

BUT if you stick with it you'll get stronger and stronger, and less wimpier. So hang in there!! emoticon

Angie,

I started on the same day! This is my second round with Insanity, but it has been almost 8 months since round 1. I know how you feel, but trust me, you'll get stronger and stronger if you stick with it.

Just keep pushing play!

I think most people feel like that after day 1 emoticon I know I didn't feel too great! But the good thing is you will improve quickly! Good luck as you get going!

Right there with you! Was really feeling discouraged doing the workout today. They say just keep pushing play and you'll get stronger. I'm trying to hold on to that thought. I'm worried I'm in over my head. I keep seeing myself where my fitness level was 2 years ago and comparing my current fitness level to that. I suppose that could be my downfall. What's discouraging you? My main discouragement while in the workout is my lack of endurance compared to where I used to be. I'm hoping the more I do it, the longer I can go before having to take a break.

So, I came on here today looking for the same motivation to keep going...let's keep going.

Hey Angie,

First off, congrats to you for starting this amazing and tough program. Don't feel like a wimp because you got through a really tough workout! Even after going through it a couple rounds I still take breaks and leave a puddle of sweat on my mat when I am done so you are in the norm with this one, definitely not a wimp. This is a toughy!

You will find loads of support here with all the folks that do Beachbody workouts, everyone is fantastic as I'm sure you have figured out. You will never want to do anything else once you meet the great people here.

If you want extra motivation or support pop me a friend request on Facebook (look at my profile), I'd be happy to add you to a group we have there. You'll be extra motivated.

In the meantime, happy new year and keeping pushing play.

Jo

Ya I started the same time you did and I barely got through my workout today, by the end of the workout I could barely stand my knees were shaking so bad. But I felt good after the workout and was glad that I did it.

You can do it! One day at a time. Just do your best each day and forget about the rest!

Thanks everyone for the words of advice. Im going to keep pushing play!! This is my only thing. Im a registered nurse and I work three days 12-14 hour shifts sometimes they are scaddered sometimes back to back. So this am I got up at 4am did my workout , came to work and wont get home til 9 or 10pm. Should I do it at 4am on work days or just my four off days? I want this to work aswell as I want to see, feel the results.

You know, I have loads of nurses that work 12's on my team and I'd love to introduce you to them because they would be the best ones to help you with that answer. The best is to get that workout in daily except your rest day so you can follow the schedule but I'd really like you to be able to talk to the other nurses on my team, they are ER nurses so they all work your shift so they will know exactly what you are talking about. I messaged you.
