struggling advice for p90

Hello there, I started P90x 37 days ago and have yet to see any decrease in weight. However I lost half an inch in my waist and one inch in my hips. My legs and arms are all the same. I am a little disappointed with my results... Looking for some advice. I just joined beachbody so I do not have any pictures to post.

Hey, first congratulations on getting to day 37. Celebrate the accomplishments each and every day!

When I first started P90X my goal was to just finish those 90 days. Small steps lead to success! And a 1/2 inch in the waist is nothing to sneeze at.

My first question to you is how is your diet? What calorie count are you eating each day and how clean are you with your diet.

I'd be happy to calculate the right calorie intake for you and help with diet,motivation or questions. Anything I can do to help.

Keep up the good work - 37 days is 1/3 of the way there. now lets get everythign on the right track and get you the success you want.

I think you are doing great!!! Did you look at your before picture? It's so important to take a picture. You look at yourself in the mirror every day, so you do not easily see the change. Comparing to a picture of 37 days ago, you can easily see a change of -1" in the hips. The fact that your weight has not changed is also great. You have simultaneously gained muscle and lost fat!!!!! That is not easy to do and is absolutely the recipe for success. I don't think you should change a thing.

-3" at the end of the program will be a big change, probably a couple of pants sizes smaller with significantly more muscle tone. Do not get discouraged and keep pushing play!

Thanks for the encouragement, Its hard to know if you are doing it right because you see all of the after pictures of others and it seems so far away! I will continue to hit play, this week I am really starting to notice some definition in my arms.

You're all doing great! Push play each day and watch the diet. Check in to the message boards and ask questions. You'll enjoy learning more each day not only about yourselves but about fitness and nutrition too!

It's strange how most have the same experience. I found too that after the first
30 or so days I wasn't seeing anything, but i was feeling a little better.
It's really tough to see little changes on your own. I remember one day
maybe about 2 months in, looking in the mirror and thinking I was seeing a little bit of 6 pack starting to form. After that I was pumped. That was 3 1/2 years ago now.
I think almost everyone goes through this "when" thing.
If you just keep at, all of the sudden on day you're ok to be an "after" picture.
