So, I did it, I frickin' did it!!!!!! I just finished my final fit test today, thus wrapping up my Insanity experience. I'm so proud and excited to have made it through the whole 60+ days. I would post my before/after pics but I can't find my cord that allows me to download pics from my camera to my computer. I'll find it, though, as I want my t-shirt : )

Anyway, what I really have been reflecting on is my fitness transformation (versus my physical transformation). I had so many moments where I felt that I couldn't do one more push up jack, power jump, or hi/low squat...then I would hear Shaun T say I only had 15 seconds left and I would push myself through those last 15 seconds with strength and determination I had no idea I had. At the end, I would ask myself "where the heck did that come from?", those are the moments that I cherished.

Another success I loved was being able to kick butt on moves I originally thought I would never be able to do. I remember watching him do some of the more intense push ups in Month 2 and I completely doubted I would ever be able to do them. Well, I kept at it and can honestly say that I made incredible strides. I not only became strong enough to do them, but I looked forward to the part of the workout where it was time to do them. : )

Below I have posted my results from my first fit test to my last. For anyone who is frustrated or unsure of the success you could have with this program, I hope my numbers inspire you. I am just a regular person who kept pushing play. There were days where I worked 12 hrs then came home to start the work out at 10 pm (those were my "dig deepest" days), starting that late wasn't fun, but I NEVER regretted doing it.

So, for all of you out there giving 110%, keep it up!!!!! Make yourself proud, you can do it. : ) I'm giving myself until Monday to rest, then I'm stepping into The Asylum, if anyone else is on that same plan, I'll see you over on those message boards. : )

Switch Kicks...... 125 123 (not sure what happened here, think I was still warming up)
Power Jacks....... 58 69
Power Knees...... 97 132
Power Jumps..... 25 40
Globe Jumps..... 8 11
Suicide Jumps... 11 18
Push Up jacks.... 15 36
Low Plank Obliques... 46 81

Happy new year everyone!

Hello,

Well congrats to you! That is exactly what kind of success you are supposed to have from this amazing program. I wish everyone would see it the way you do. That is so wonderful that you can look back and see what you accomplished during those 60 days. How fantastic for you. Not only physical but mental changes, knowing that you accomplished something like this. Way to go!

Your fit test results are really great by the way, good job! I can't wait to hear how you like Asylum and how you do. Both Asylum 1 and 2 are really fun and tough like Insanity but well worth it. When are you starting?

Great meeting you and again, I look forward to keeping up with you through Asylum.

Jo

Wow Ms. Vsub,
Check out those numbers; from football scores to basketball! Such improvement, so much sweat and success ya' need to wipe your hair from your face. Great work, keep the smiles radiating and supporting the rest of the message board. Weak knees, sore shoulders and lots of "I don't wanna work out today" types need encouragement! I've traversed that path a bit myself, but no more. The ground, some space and plenty of sweat can yield grand results. See you on the other side of the court...The Nation!

Anytime! Oh cool, Monday! Yes, you are right, Shaun T does get a bit meaner in Asylum. He just has higher expectations so the rumor is correct. emoticon
