Results and what Next?
Results and what Next?

Hi all,

I got some pretty amazing results from Asylum and really enjoyed the challenge. I attached my result pics from Insanity and Asylum. I would define myself as skinny fat (especially when I started). I am 6"1 so my question is what should I do next? Should I continue with another round of Asylum that might make me to lean or should I focus on a Mass building routine like 90X or just hit the gym for some heavy lifting? Some advice would be appreciated!

Note: I took some stats with a bodyfat scale so numbers are probably off but they give an overall idea of what is going on: Left most pic 150pounds 17% BF, After 100 days of insanity: 149pounds 12.5% BF, After 30 days Asylum: 151pounds 10.5% BF. (Weighed myself on an empty stomach first thing in the morning in all cases)

Thanks

I guess the real question is what is your ultimate goal, the results you have had so far are awesome so you should be proud of that!! If you are looking to continue on improving cardio stamina and athletic ability then staying in the Insanity and Asylum rounds would be good. If you are wanting to add some weight in muscle (which is my goal for this year) then I would take a look at Bodybeast. P90X is a great program and I have done it twice but it is more of an overall fitness program than a put on bulk program so you can get defined with it but getting big on it may take one of the mass building hybrid schedules like the one Carl Edwards wrote you can find it BY CLICKING HERE.

Hope the info helps,

Justin

I would like to add some weight in muscle. Thanks for the advice regarding this I have never heard of Bodybeast but will take a look at it along with the mass hybrid for 90x.

Thanks!

If your serious about gaining some mass I would say check out Body Beast, I would be posting my final results up tomorrow and show my gains. While I did have success in gaining some mass from p90, I couldn't get my chest as big as I wanted but with Beast I can.

BODY BEAST is the program that was designed for "skinny fat" people. You will notice the most change in YOUR body with this program....

Ultimately, you should "cross train" for best results but taking one goal at a time in "cycles" is extremely effective as well..

I wrote a blog on it to explain the "cycle" more - http://can2fitness.com/fire-your-trainer-if-they-havent-told-you-this/http://can2fitness.com/fire-your-trainer-if-they-havent-told-you-this/

hope this helps....
