p90x vs tapout vs rushfit
p90x vs tapout vs rushfit

I've tried p90x and had good results but I felt it was a little slow paced and the cardio was weak. I did insanity however the jumping and extra running I did injured my back. I've tried 1 video of the rushfit and felt it was ok. And I've seen reviews of tapout were people have burned 8-900 calories per dvd. I know its possible because I can burn about 750 an hr on the eliptical. I haven't been on here recently and just found out about p90x2. What I'm looking for is unbias opinions that doesn't try to boost ones sales or profit. I would like an honest review. I'm looking for something efective but won't break my back and isn't so slow were I only burn 3-400 calories on a good day.

program
Price and place you bought it from
Extra equipment needed ie barbells, resistant bands
Type of diet/meal plans
Intensity of the workouts
How quick was it when you saw results if any
Calories burn with ea dvd or an avg.

What results did you end up with after the program
Overall evaluation of the product (0-10) be fair and grade each catagory. Ex. The meal plan lacked any depth and did not allow for adjustments. The nutrition plan was small and had no recipes. (3) but overall the product had a great workout system and a little pricy at $120 so I would rate an 8.5/10

What are you trying to achieve? Weight loss? Overall fitness? Last-mile body fat reduction? Strength? Building muscle? Instead of throwing money on the top vote-getter (which may not have anything to do with your personal goals), why not paint a clear picture of exactly what your fitness goal is?

MY overall goal is to lose about 15- 20lbs and increase my overall fitness level, get stronger and faster.

All the programs seem to do this.
some require extra equipment
some are more intense

Ive tried p90x and had good results. but I like the extreme cardio that the others show.
I cant do plyo do to a bad back and p90x cardio left me disapointed. I tend to do the cardio dvd twice in a row. but I got my best results when I stoped the cardio and replaced it with biking around 20miles a day at 5-700 or so cals burned for an hour.

I want a good muscle building routine with extreme cardio.
geting honest reviews and finding out the cheapest price is a nice start to where to begin.
I bought the p90x off the website and Insanity from ebay for 20$ cheaper. im not intrested in buying from their site so they can maximize profits.

I'm going to be doing the tapout xt. Didn't get any reviews here. I just wanted peoples pros and cons. But I found a lot on youtube and myfittnesspal and other sources. You tube videos showing real people doing the workout helped me choose that this one will be good for my cardio, space and the fun aspect. I don't like tapout as a brand but always open to stuff tht works. Seeing user reviews of actual people that ask question to the maker of the program and that he responds is a plus. Maybe after I shed the pounds ill go back to p90x or try the beast.

I suspect you'd really like P90X2. It's designed with those goals in mind. BTW, normally if you ask a question on a Saturday you might not get any answers until the work week. For whatever reason the forums are slower on weekends and the BB advice staff only monitors Mon-Fri usually.

Hey ffdpsoldier, i just saw this old post of yours and i'm asking myself the same about TapouXT. I think P90X's is not a very strong program in terms of cardio work.

I'm about to finish P90X and trying to see what next so that's how i rn into Tapout XT.

Since you've done both programs, how would you compare P90X and Tapout XT?

Why not do P90X, because you have had good results with it, and replace the P90X cardio with a program like Insanity or Les Mills Combat to get that higher intensity cardio while still maximizing on the benefits of the P90X weight training?

Or, as mentioned before, there is always P90X2..
