Count me in! I am on day 12 and need some motivation! The scale has gone up 2 pounds since I started and it's messing with my head

I know it's just a number but I am so used to using it for validation that my hard work is paying off and seeing it go up is seriously messing with my motivation. I have been following the calorie suggestions and having the recovery shakes. Any advice ladies?
Keep in mind muscle weighs more than fat so you going up 2 pounds may be a good thing. And don't get on the scale so much. Weigh yourself every 30 days, otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy. Some of us drop weight quickly, some of us don't. Keep at it and check your weight again in NO LESS than 30 Days. Also, did you do your measurements before you started? If not do them. Your loss in inches is what you should be more focused on. You may have gained 2 pounds but what have your size in inches done? You'd be surprised at how many people I come across who gain weight/muscle but lose inches. Hope this helps
