Good Afternoon,

This is going to be my second attempt at Insanity. The first attempt I made it 26 days with really good results. However, I incurred an injury Hamstring Tendonitis and I had to get that cleared up before I continued with the program.

I am going to be starting back up again with Insanity on January 7th, I am looking to shed, inches, weight and tone. It would great to connect with some people for mainly for encouragement and support.

You came to the right place to connect with people this is a great community of people here and they are all here to do the same thing, get healthy and live a better life. Jan 7th is the start of your journey and I am sure you will do great. This community has helped me get the results I have gotten (lost 125 lbs and 16 inches off my waist line) use these boards and give each workout all you have and you will get thr results. Congrats on the decision to get fit and enjoy the journey.

You CAN do this!! emoticon Great goals. Just take it day by day. I find posting the calendar really helps- check off each day.

Im in almost the EXACT same boat as you, this is my second attempt at Insanity and I started today. Great results first time around (although I didn't quite finish...) Good luck! We can do it!

I am starting my second attempt at Insanity. I did 5 weeks and then the first week of phase 2 I hurt my arm and then my grandmother passed away. I have been doing Turbo Fire witch I love. But I really want to earn my T-Shirt. I have about 20+ lbs to lose. Let's stick together and finish.

For sure, it sucks when the things of life get in the way of our goals, but hopefully this time around we can push through and complete the task and goals that we are attempting to complete!

Well this is my first time in the Forum, I am started the Insanity program yesterday. Hoping to make it through 60 days. Today was tough lol. Not sure what's worse, my cardio or my leg strength. emoticon Good luck to you.

Congrats on finding the strength to start again. Some people on my team swear by the Results and Recovery Formula to help with the soreness but I use the Beachbody impact mat to keep from hurting my joints or landing wrong and hurting something. I just started month 2 of Insanity and OMG!! Now I know why it is called Insanity! I cannot wait to hear about your journey. Please keep us posted.

Very cool! Sounds great! It is tough, I woke up this morning and almost every muscle was sore. I put the dvd in and did the day 3 workout and dug through it. I am feeling great! So far things are good minus the sore muscles but that just means it's doing what it's supposed to! : )

I'm in the same boat. I started Insanity last June 2012 and after 4 weeks I strained a muscle in my hip. I think it was from playing soccer with the kids? I had to stop since I couldn't lift my right leg up. In those 4 weeks, I did see the transformation begin to take place.
I stayed in shape by biking to work. However, it's not the same as Insanity. I started up again in September 2012 for a couple of days but kid/family obligations just seem to creep in.
Now its 2013 and time to serious again. I started on January 3rd and love being back in it! At night when I get ready to work out and have changed into shorts, my wife and kids are so encouraging. This workout is like nothing I've every experienced before. IT becomes an addiction.
Stay focused and make this a priority. Set your workout time and stick to it. So many things can come up but stick to your plan.

Awesome...I am pretty sore. I did day three this morning. I have been doing all of mine in the morning.

It is great but it was a pain in the butt getting up and and down from my desk today. Hahaha.

I spent the last 9 months not doing any fitness program so I have been in for a treat this week!! Since I am out of shape I am hoping I can get through these next couple of weeks and start to keep up with the videos!! We will see how it goes emoticon

Very cool! That is great!
It is a tough workout... my first time through ( only 26 days) the first 2 weeks or so staying with the video was pretty difficult. After that, I found myself able to do the entire video's including the whole warm up without having to take a break.

You have to dig a little, but after while your body will adjust and you will be able to do the whole thing! Congrats on getting into Insanity and it will be great going on this journey together!

Day 4 is done and it wasn't too bad. Scared of tomorrow. Lol. Need to get better with my diet as well. But its been fun and excited to see some results in a few weeks hopefully.

Congrats on having a baby and congrats on deciding to start an intense workout program. You can do it, just push play and before you know it, we will be at 60 days. We all will be here to help each other out.
