Muscle Soreness
Muscle Soreness

Can someone give me some tips on muscle soreness. Particularly, I get really sore after day 2. My quads kill me to the point that I cannot bend my knees for two days after, and this is what gets me off track on my exercising. It's beyond what I think other people feel based on the fact that many people rate their soreness after first-day plyo as 4/10, 5/10, etc. I can hardly walk. I'd like some advice other than taking a recovery drink, because finances don't always make that available. Any ideas?

This can be normal for some people. I had this problem on my first round of P90X. After ab ripper on monday then plyo on tuesday between my hips and legs i could barely walk, sit down, get out of a chair ETC. It will go away eventually. Try some light stretching and be patient. Each week will get better. The first week is the worst for soreness.

Also make sure your eating plenty of lean proteins to help repair your muscles. Trust me when i say it will get better. Ive been there!
