Do you have to do ab ripper x immediately after your workout? I beat after workouts. Can i do it couple hours later are should i do it following the workout to get maximum results?

You can split them up. Do your workout early and do your ab Ripper later on in the day. Thats totally ok! The key is making sure you dont skip it all together!

Hi, I will drink water, and rest about 10 minutes and do abrx. If I wait to do it in the afternoon, I will do less reps. Probably because I'm cold, not the case if I do it just after the workout.

Most people do it right after, but you can do it any time. I find after is easier because you're all warmed up.

I usually do it within a few minutes of my scheduled workout. My very first ARX experience was attempting ALL reps, and basically toughing it out. It was horrible. I made a command decision for my own sanity to do 1 more than I thought was reasonable for the next round. So, once I thought I maxed out, I pushed for ONE MORE. And then that goal, became the base goal for the next ARX day. And so on, and so forth!

I have no problem doing it right after most workouts but on Legs and Back day I have to take a breather. If you don't take a break it's hard to get the intensity your looking for.

Russ I do the main workout (chest & back, shoulders & arms etc) in the early morning and then do ABX at night after work. no real reason other than I just dont have the time in the morning so I break it up.

Also, I really can bring it when I do ABX.

Ok so i ended up falling asleep after dinner was so beat after day 1 workout and food made me even more tired. So i didn't even get to do ab ripper x. I plan on doing it this morning to make up for it. Then do it again after my day 2 workout is that ok?
Can i do ARX twice in a day are will i be over training?

Also i was thinking about doing Arx before starting workout instead of after?

You can do ABX either before or after - but twice in a day would be over training. Remember that the other workouts are working your core as well. PUsh ups if you have good form - keep your core tight for example.

Russ, if you miss one workout, it's preferable to wait to do scheduled next workout , that try to do 2 in the same day to compensate. Our body doesn't work that way.

Just do it once per day, max.

Feel free to do it before your main workout if you wish. That's fine.

Sorry if I was not clear, what I meant was to not overtrain your body with the abs workout, basically do once per day max , as Andrew replied.

For me doing the abs before the workout doesn't work very well, as abs play an important role in the workouts, if I do them before I will have the abs tired and not do the workout at full, i prefer at the end.

You shouldn't be doing AB Ripper everyday.
Every other day is ok but your body needs the time in between
working that, and any, muscle group, for recovery and growth.

When i first started, i would rest about 10 minutes
after finishing the main program and going on to AB's.
Eventually I got down to starting after a couple of minutes.
It will be the same for you, it just takes... wait for it .....
time, patience,& pratice. lol

The most benefit is right after your workout but if you need
to space it, so be it.

Russ, double check, it's not after every dvd, just the non-cardio workouts. They will match the Workout schedule from the manual. You have 3 abs routines every week.

no it's not after every workout.
are you following the schedule?
even the doubles routine is careful
not to work the same muscle groups
consecutive days.
well, with the exception of yoga which
does have a short ab portion at the end
and is done the day after abrx.
regardless, just follow the schedule
