Starting 10min Trainer today and looking for a buddy!!

Okay, so to the point. I NEED to loose 30 lbs, ASAP! Last summer bought a house with a pool and spent so much time being lazy I put on 15lbs...fast. Need to get ready to put on a bathing suit.... and more importantly, A WEDDING DRESS!!! The love of my life asked me to marry him last February. #1 reason we haven't gotten married yet? I don't want to go dress shopping. I'm the heaviest I've ever been at 165lbs, I did P90X in the past and LOVED IT, but I am hoping the 10min trainer will help me slowly get back on track and then once I start doing more and am at my comfortable weight it will be more of a maintenance workout to help keep it off emoticon

Anyone out there that started 10min trainer today, this week, this month?? I do better working out when I am held responsible by someone! Let me know so we can get chatting!

Hi there! I am starting the 10 minute trainer on Monday 1/14/13 for the 60 day challenge. I am looking to lose 15lbs also so I can fit into a swimsuit and and get rid of the baby fat from 3yrs ago emoticon and do my yearly 5k.
I work full time so when I get home at night only have about 30-45minutes to myself. I really need to get up early and do at least 1 video than and finish rest at night.
Would love to have a buddy!

raidergirl - I hope that you get it soon! A couple days always seems like forever when your waiting for something!

I haven't really decided what time I'm going to work out. I do not have a normal work schedule so I think it will be different daily. Today I just worked out @ 4pm and ended up doing 3 workouts. I think I will take it day by day. Everyday I will do AT LEAST one of them and if I'm feeling good I will do more! I will say this, I think you girls will be surprised! I was and still am. Over the first two days I played 5 of the workouts and did them. I wanted to figure out how to use the bands and belt, etc, so I could keep up since its only 10 minutes! And I have been suprised with each workout and how great of a workout it is. I have been sore the last 3 days! I wasn't really sure about this, but I am impressed. It's like a mini P90X :-)

I'm so excited too! Excited to have 2 other people to help motivate me and eachother and to look good in a bathing suit again, woo woo!

How about we make our official start date on Monday? Maybe I can make a facebook page that only us three (baileymom, raider girl) can see and we can post pictures at the 30day mark? If we are comfortable that is.... I will let you know I don't think I will be posting my "before" pictures until I have seen results!! A little embarrasing emoticon

Hello!!! Yes I will be starting next week and I would like to have a buddy
as well to start with the 10 min trainer. I order mine on 1/8/13 and got an email stating it should be here
by the end of the week. I was faithful to exercising about 3 days a week at the gym and fell of the wagon around July.
So I wanted to start up again and drop about 20 pounds before summer. I'm knew this chat/blog so I'm not sure how to
add anyone as my buddy. Can someone let me know please. emoticon

Hello! I was reading the different comments and I too have ordered the 10 min trainer and looking for a buddy. Mine won't arrive until the middle or end of next week per the email I got today. I noticed you said you were doing the 2 day start up. Can you tell me about that and maybe I can do that until my order comes in. Thank you.

I am in with you girls. I started TMT today. I have done P90X and Insanity a few years back. I started to get sick in my last week of Insanity and found out I have a heart issue. So I gave up and moved to my bike and stand-up paddle board.
Last April while surfing I messed up my knee. My work is nuts in the summer so I waited for Fall to get it fixed. Needless to say I am now heavier than I have ever been. Weaker as well.
I have been doing PT and I feel the knee is ready for a step-up. Hope TMT is it! I can not do the cardio due to the heart so I will do 20 min on my bike to replace it. Then I plan(hope I can) do 2 TMT workouts daily as well. I am doing the workout plan on the auto track at WOWY.
I was surprised how hard it was today. TMT is NOT a cake walk and I am not who I was 2 years ago;)

SO EXCITED TO HAVE SUCH A GROUP!!!! Everyone message me or post on here you facebook name as I will be creating the facebook page tonight emoticon My name is Melissa J. so look for something from me. I am better at navigating that (as I'm sure many of you others are as well) Official start date will be tomorrow. Also, thanks to baileysummermom, I checked out the 10 Minute Trainer page and there is an official challenge starting tomorrow as well! You have to submit 1 day/30/60/90 pictures for a chance to be in the next 10min video. I'm doing that as well! SOunds like we have all the tools and support to be successful!


beachbodyone - okay I'm not very good at this site either, but if you click on our name next to one of our posts it will send you to our profile and on that page it will say "add as buddy" or something like that!
The two day start up was an "extra"... With the order came some shakeology protein shake. The first two days you were to have a shake for breakfast and lunch, and small dinner, ex chicken breast salad. snacks were raw veggies and green tea. During the two days you were also supposed to go through and do all of the workouts so that you could get a preview, this way when you start you can move faster! I got the chocolate shakeology and put 1/2 banana in with mine.... I thought it was very good, for a protein shake so I will be buying more.

WAHM - Excited that you are on board! We are going to have an awesome and motivating team!!

BKKAG - Wow! lots of p90x'ers in here emoticon I was watching the infomercial today and it made me want to do it again, I felt so great... even though I only made it through about 5 weeks. I am excited with TMT though..... the cardio videos where you use the resistance band with the belt is awesome. I feel like i have my core flexed for the entire 10 minutes. I can now see why people are getting great, toned mid sections! Can't wait for mine!

raidergirl - Tuesday will be fine, just play catch up if you want! Facebook page will be done by the time you read this! Warming up is going good, I didn't do anything yesterday because I was too lazy to get out of bed on time, so today I did 2 plus yoga. Loooving the yoga. Reminds me how good flexibility will feel.

Congrats on getting married! I, too, put on 15 pounds last summer. I got sick & couldn't shake it. The doc put me on an antibiotic that had as a potential side effect a ruptured tendon. I read all the info that came with it and found out a ruptured tendon was possible even months after finishing it. I was afraid to move. I sat around and ate too much out of boredom. I now weigh 179.6 pounds. Now, I need to lose 25-30 pounds.

I started TMT Monday, Jan. 14. So far so good. I feel better already! Our bodies were made to move.

My nutrition has been mostly good this week. My main weakness is Dr. Pepper. I don't think I will ever stop drinking it. Otherwise, I'm doing well. I mostly follow the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. It was designed for folks with Crohn's Disease. The diet is very similar to paleo, so I have a lot of paleo cookbooks. Last I night had a great beef & cabbage soup. Hit the spot on a cold, damp night. One of my favorite things now is paleo fried chicken. It is great.

Well I missed a day due to the flu. How fun;)
I got back at it yesterday. Might not have been a great idea since I got very light headed during yoga.
Not feeling great today but I hope to get all 3 in at some point.

I had to take a couple of days off due to back pain. It felt okay this morning, but not so much now after finishing a workout. I'm going to try to do more later today.

Soreness has been an issue for me, too. Hope that will fade as I become consistent with my workouts. It's fun to do TMT, you are moving from one exercise to the other so fast, the workout is over before you know it.
