Additional workouts with Turbo Fire?
I am on day 3 of Turbo Fire, but was wondering if I should be doing other workouts along with it? I have been doing 20-30 minutes of light walking on the treadmill at 4mph. Is this necessary? Will I still see the results that some of you have shown by just following the Turbo Fire schedule?

I work 40 hours a week in an active job...on my feet 8+ hours a day there.

Congrats on starting Turbofire! I would say you will be just fine on the Turbofire schedule. If your eating clean healthy foods you really dont need the extra cardio especially if your on your feet at work 8+ hours. Try just doing the Turbofire program and eating clean and go from there. I think that will be just fine emoticon

I started out doing a Turbofire / Insanity hybrid and that was a poor idea. Now I am just sticking with Turbofire. Perhaps when you hit month 3, if you find that you need the extra challenge, you can add something else. When you are just starting out, I would say stick with the program as is. Hi,

With you having an active job and doing TF, the extra workouts are not needed. When I first started with the program, that's all I did. I was a terrible eater and I made small changes to my nutrition during TF. I had amazing success with it. What are your goals? WHY do you want to achieve these goals? Being very active, you'll want to make sure you are refueling your body with healthy calories. If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

Hi! I did Turbo Fire for almost 2 years by itself. I had amazing results.... Like a couple of the other replies said. Follow the schedule and eat clean and within calorie range being sure to get your water in as well. You will see results. It is the most fun workout I have ever done! Oh and be sure to take measurements in addition to your scale. I lost inches some months without losing weight.

As everyone else has said, no need to do the additional workout. Make sure you're eating healthy and getting enough sleep and pressing play like the schedule says. You'll see amazing results. My advice - take before pictures and measurements. I, and others I know, have seen HUGE drops in inches even when the scale doesn't seem to be moving. You can see my before/afters on my profile...Keep up the good work! You'll get great results!
