I'm an 18 year old college student in the Boston area! I was overweight my entire life until I entered high school and decided to really turn things around. I lost about 25 pounds and managed to keep it off but since leaving for college the stress of classes and homework started to wreak havoc on my old workout habits. Before I knew it I was skipping working out, binge eating, and those darn jeans were just getting a little too tight.... I started doing Insanity last summer and stuck with it for about a month before spraining my ankle and then I just never got back into it. I get very bored very quickly and tend to lose motivation when there is no one to push me and keep me accountable. Although now that one of my friends is pushing me to run a marathon with her next January, I've decided to get back on the bandwagon and stop the "freshman 15" from getting any further along. If anyone is interested in joining me and/or teaming up to keep each other motivated and accountable, I'd be more than thrilled to hear you out!
