Question about Body Beast Hybrid
Greetings,

I am currently doing the Body Beast workout. I have read on this web-site and Steve Edwards' blog that if you want the best results that a program offers, it is usually best to complete the program as designed.

This is what I am doing for Body Beast.

But I was wondering for future workouts, if doing Body Beast and also adding in Tai Cheng workouts (say in the evening) would diminish the hypertrophy gains made from Body Beast? Or is Tai Cheng gentle enough that it won't really offset the strength/size gains you are making with Body Beast?

I know that Tai Cheng is focused on balance, coordination, and mobility, all things that will improve overall health and athleticism (which is why I am interested in the program) and it might be a great idea to combine the programs in the future.

But I just wonder if it will lessen the gains for Body Beast a bit (as P90X limits size gains by working multiple energy systems).

Thoughts?

I think that would be fine to implement. Tai Cheng is low impact and there's alot of good stretching as well. It all depends on your goals and your nutrition is also a big factor.
