Wow, my life has been touched with some wild stuff lately, I tell you the older I get the more people I know exit this planet in one final death scene. It simply reaffirms to me that my life on this planet, is a limited time only event so I better live it well. Hopefully all of this in my face reality will keep me grounded in truth. So I am flipping the script, and rocking the moment as I embrace the huge beast. I am beast mode minded.

 Physical Stamina: Little old chick playing with the iron is my happy zone. Cardiovascular anything is my endurance zone,no cardio on the schedule today. I am in the midst of hormonal gridlock and eight hours sleep for me is overkill. When it comes to strength my body is in wax and wane mode.

Day 2
Training Ramblings: A season of hard work will eventually yield something worthwhile. So I climbed on the beast and went for a ride, It was build legs short sweet and painful. This long legged woman has never been fond of lunges. I guess I just have to get use to what I am not fond of.

Mental Zone: I willingly lay down the things that taste good so that I can have a body that feels good. It is all about feeding my fitness fantasy until it becomes an everyday reality. I will only sacrifice for what I truly want.

Day 3

Training Ramblings:I want to accomplish something awesome this year, so despite the annoying sting of hormonal disagreement I attacked the beast. It was a cold blooded and cruel love affair. Nothing romantic was going on, it was just a rough and raw session, of hammering the biceps and pounding the back. When it was all said and done I ended up in upper body nirvana. A weak,wobbly mess but totally satisfied.


Mental Zone: It is all about doing what you have to do 24-7-365. Talk is plentiful, it is the process that is hard. Come on woman you
have to do the hard stuff. You never want to look back and wish that you had, celebrate that you did. Now go do it.

Purposeful Pontifications: Long-term satisfaction is achieved by daily actions, that take you where you want to go. So my prayer for this year is to have that one direction, laser focused, hit the bullseye mentality. I really need to but the blinders on and go for that one thing with passion. I refuse to sculpt a better version of myself physically, without doing so spiritually and mentally. As long as the voice in my heart says that I can do better than that, then I will fight against the voice in my head that says its okay you have done good enough. Pray for this flawed woman as she strives to really become better than she use to be. Never give up on yourself people. If you think you can't achieve something, it is time to rethink the situation.

Day 4
The battle is about to begin and I want pure dominance, yes it is time to beast up. Any day that starts out with deadlift is going to be glorious. I tell you I am allowed my pre-training fantasy.
Training Ramblings: Yes, my butt was kicked, in each battle you have to have some casualities. The odds however are on my side even when I lose I win.

Mental Zone: The obstacles are there to make you stronger, it is simply a test to see if you want it. You have only two options find an excuse or discover a solution. I suggest you try the latter.

Purposeful Pontifications: There are somedays when you simply want to hug G-d. Today was one of those days. I guess it is because today when I looked in the mirror I saw more than a survivor. I saw a conqueror, a contender, a fleeting sliver of humanity some how still sustained by mercy and grace. It was one of those awesome moments when you can’t help but acknowledge you were created for purpose and it is your duty to live with passion. Love, appreciation and kindness three power components that this world so desperately needs.My prayer for today is to grow in wisdom and in love.

Training Ramblings: The thirst to become better is there, yet this was probably my weakest workout of the week. I think I rated somewhere between cuddly old cat and fierce lioness. The beast simply smirked at me with hollow eyes. This really is going to be a battle worth fighting.

People need to stop believing lies, anyone that tells you that you are less than, unlovable, or of no value is simply lying. You have to stop believing lies, if you want freedom. There is no true victory apart from freedom, this is a great time to experience freedom.

 Training Ramblings: I felt like a pampered princess,trampled on by an orge known as the beast. This tempo stuff is a wrecking ball for building a better body, yes, I am enjoying the ride next stop destination.

I’m sticking by the decisions that I have made even when it hurts. Sacrifice it is the only way to make the dream a reality. No sacrifice, no goal obtained.

Don’t make me suffer, I can’t with stand the pain of change you might argue. Sure you can, if you focus on the rewards of transformation. Don’t give up on goal when it becomes hard, mundane and even downright boring, stick to the process because something wonderful is developing.

Training Ramblings: Training today was a chore,laziness was riding my back like an unwanted pimple. I seriously did not want to see the beast, confront the beast or even acknowledge that the beast exists. The beast is real and raw, but I am to old to back down from a opportunity. Nietzsche said “That which does not kill us makes us stronger”Well I doubt he had beastly pursuits, in my case what doesn’t kill you, makes you wish you were dead. Mission achieved laziness crushed.

You have to cling to commitment, and wrap yourself in integrity. Remember what you said you wanted? Remember what you vowed you would do? Stay true to the course and push through. You are winner, don’t allow lack of motivation to defeat you.

Training Ramblings: Stumbling into another beastie training session. It was an off-key kind of session. I was keeping it a little slow and easy because today it was all about shoulders. I have to keep the weights low, shoulder safety is utmost to me. My biggest struggle was Sagi-6 way mayhem, talk about being beastie.

Mental Zone: The process is taking you where you want to go don’t abandon it.

Training Ramblings: No defeat, no destruction, I was standing strong, sore but strong. It was a direct alignment kind of day. No whimper, no whine full engagement with the Beast.

My job is to stare down the obstacles, silence the distractions, command my emotions and keep pushing forward. I don’t think I will ever score a touchdown in the religious realm but this crazy wonderful faith assures me that I will succeed if I refuse to quit. So I am cling to my faith like a woman obsessed as I do the hard stuff that will make my desires a reality.

Training Ramblings: Raw reality, my battle to conquer the beast continues. In order to obtain what I want have to earn it. That means I have to tame my emotions, discipline myself and make it happen. Leg training today was a painful delight, it gives me what I want, but mercy what a price. I am thankful that tomorrow is an off day.

Purposeful Pontifications: Application is the key to results. I have never allowed my lack of success deter me in eventually reaching my goal. I prefer to look at failure as purposeful feedback, that will eventually help me achieve the objective I am aiming for.
At each level of development, I have to go through the painful process of eliminating things that once were useful but now hold no value in my life. Then I have to grab new techniques, methods, situations, relationships that although cumbersome at first is exactly what I need to progress. Letting go can hurt but it is necessary.

Training Ramblings: Tantalizing delight, or physique transforming torture, the line of distinction has become blurred. There were moments when the beast and I were snuggled up all cozy like but it was a fleeting moment then it back to business as usual.
It was an awesome beastfest session.

Training Ramblings: Beast fest 2013 continues I was ready for action, and my body had to follow. I could have played the hormonal old chick over fifty card but honestly this stuff keeps me fully functional. It feels like a punishment at times but has great purpose and I am thankful to be able to do this it is a worthy challenge.

To purpose and withstanding opposition and avoiding the dungeon of despair. You have to diligently work the steps that will take you to the objective. There can be no retreat on the road to destiny. Once you know what you were designed to achieve on this planet you have to go after it with everything you have. The important thing is to never sacrifice your future by being bound by unhealthy ties of yesteryear. Don’t allow the unimportant things of the moment, steal valuable deposits you could be making into your future. Now is the time, go for it.

Training Ramblings: Tomorrow did indeed come early and so did my confrontation with the Beast. I tell you it was one of those days when I awaken with fuzzy thinking it was like dust had collected on my brain. My perfect plan for today quickly began to unravel but not before my encounter with the beast was done.

We all know that actions have consequences and sooner or later,life will hand you the bill that says pay up. My true power will always lie within the thoughts that I think, the love that I share and the body that I keep. The actions that I take will always be reflective of those three things. Now you see why this wonderfully flawed woman, has a task load that requires massive action. Pray for me people.

Training Ramblings: I am enjoying my perfectly imperfect life, and that includes my pump it up with session with the beast. It is not that I have entered Beast Utopia, I have simply embraced the fact that my odyssey wasn’t designed to be quick and easy.

Training Ramblings: I am determined to turn an ambitious fantasy into an in your face reality. My power struggle to add muscle to this frame continues. My body is only giving me sneak peeks of what it can become, I can’t wait to see the show but until then I will have to pay the price of admission, and from my perspective it isn’t cheap.
