P90X2 Ply Box Size Question
P90X2 Ply Box Size Question
plyo equipment p90x2
1/10/13 7:12 PM
I'm about to start P90X2 and I'm trying to figure out my equipment. My question is at 6 feet tall, with 8 foot ceilings, what size plyo box should I get? In otherwords, 12" or 18"?

You will be stepping onto the plyo box, standing on it and then stepping off.

96" Ceilings
96" - 72" = 24" or less

I recommend that you use a sturdy chair and save your $$$ for a pull up assist (mandatory IMO) or an extra med ball or two. It will be the best money you save because the plyo box is not used that often and a chair will do just as well

Have fun with the program

Im about the same as you (height and ceiling) and I just use an old dining room chair.
Realistically, anything sturdy you can step on with both feet, approx. 18" high would work.
If you're just starting out, can even be a bit lower lower.
I would save the money on buying a plyo box.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get the 18 inch box. Thanks for your help.
