Body Beast/Insanity Hybrid, Or P90x
I was looking for some input on a question that I have that I have seen posts about, but nothing that has really made too much sense. I have done a round each of p90x, Body Beast, and Insanity, in that order. I am at 11% body fat, and want to make the final cut down to 7% doing a combination of cardio and weights so I don't lose my muscle.

My question comes because intuitively, I believe that the Body Beast + the Insanity have superior workouts to p90x in cardio and lifting. Therefore, my thoughts would be to do a body beast insanity hybrid, and eat with a calorie deficit. I have read around this site that this is a bad idea.

In summary, the question I have is assuming that my diet remains the same, and good, is it better to do the p90x or the insanity/BB and why?

I'd be interested in this response as well.
Have done many rounds of P90x and a round of Insanity.
Want to gain some muscle with BB but not get too big with it, would love to still do the Insanity a couple three times a week as well. Feels good doing some heavy cardio.

My feeling is just substituting Body Beast for P90x will work different muscles than I have been with P90x,that alone would make it worth it. After a couple years of P90X my body knows what's coming and has kind of hit a plateau.
The Insanity shook things up a bit and want to continue that with Body Beast.

I've started BB last week and did an Insanity work out instead of the BB cardio. Would have done the BB cardio right after that too but my legs were like Jello after BB Legs! lol!

That's what I figured too, but I have heard many places that this is a bad idea and counterproductive. It doesn't make sense to me that p90x is fine even though it is weights and cardio, but doing a more intense weight workout, and more intense cardio workout ie BB and insanity is not fine.

My question is similar. I have been doing P90x for almost 2 years and traditional cardio (running, treadmill, exercise bike). I bought Body Beast for a change but to focus on the resistance and getting bigger. But I love my post cardio feeling. I am going to continue P90x/cardio for the time being.
