Hello , Whey protein in itself don't make you gain weight. Are you tracking down your nutrition correctly?

You will gain weight if you don't eat enough or too much. If you are not tracking your nutrititon check with myfitnesspal.com, it is a free tool to help you keep track of your nutrition.

If you're trying to lose weight and gain lean muscle, you're going to have to look at your total daily cal intake. The powder I use has 110 calories per serving so I use that as a guide to my total caloric intake. My suggestion to you would be 1 serving a day. Once you find a good baseline then you can go from there whether or not you want to increase or decrease your intake.

Just be consistent and you will get the results you're looking for...Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I was tracking my food and eating healthy. I was also losing weight until I began using the whey protien. Now that I have switched I have kept the weight off. I was just wondering how often a dayam I supposed to be using it.

How much whey were you using per day when you gained weight?

How are you tracking down your nutrition?

Have you calculated what is your needed calorie intake per day?

Whey protein should be taken post-workout within 1 hour. You should take about 25-30g and you can also add some carbs with that like a banana or some oats.
