Ceilidh38:
Hello!
Let me start off by saying I am an university student, and I had a major knee surgery in May. From this operation I wasn't able to work most of the summer. Between tuition and minimal income, I cant buy most products on this site, and have very little money to spare.
I am starting the P90X workout (thank you Santa), but I would like to also add to the meal plan suggestions.
Does anyone know of less costly but effective replacements? I am mainly interested in the shakes and bars (for snacks at school).
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi Ceilidh!
How are you? Congrats on starting P90X! How did Day 1 go? It was my first program. How is the weather up in Canada? i lived in Oakville, ON for a year. What are you studying?
I like many protein bars including P90X bars and pure protein bars. I also like having apples as quick snacks. Greek yogurt rocks and is cheap.
As far as shakes, my fav is shakeology, as there are other meal replacement shakes from BB. EAS as a brand that could be good for protein shakes alone-not a meal replacement.
