Starting Slim 6! 01/15/2012 looking for support and advice.
I started the program today.

I am a bit out of shape and hope that a six week committment to this program will allow me to get not only in shape but also drop a few pounds. (15)

I am in my mid forty's, my children are all grown and gone. Ive gained about 20 pounds in the last 3 years. My husband, has pretty much lost interest in me, or at least it seems we are going in two different directions. He is a fitness nut and I am hoping I may be able to turn his head again.

Hoping to a find alittle support here. I could sure use some these days. I have never worked out before or even been on a real diet so this my be a bit of a challange for me. I'm going to give it my all.

Is anyone out there a couple weeks in? I wonder how it is going and if it is actually working.

Hi ljoy55! Congrats on your decision to start Slim in 6!! If you commit to the program for 6 weeks and focus on your nutrition, I have no doubt you will see great results and be well on your way to your goal! I haven't done this particular program, but have finished P90X, Insanity and am currently doing Les Mills Pump and Turbofire. These programs work!

Sounds like you could use some support and motivation as you go through the next 6 weeks. I have an awesome group of ladies in my support group and we motivate and encourage each other daily and sounds like you would be a great fit with us!! I sent you a buddy request and I'd love to help keep you track and motivated!

Hey! SI6 was my first Beachbody program and I loved it. Then, after I had surgery to repair a hernia this summer, I used it to get my abs back in working order while doing P90X. I found that the plies, squats, and lunges really got my thighs in shape and the ab routine, especially if combined with the Slim & Six Pack workout, will serve you really well. How are things going with you?

Hiya! I'm three weeks in, lost 5 lbs and 4 inches. Ok so that may not seem like a whole lot but...I do a modified workout and the results are showing! Yes, I posted pics lol. I have limited use of my left leg so working out can be a bit of a challenge. You have this. You can totally do this. Just started week three and I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'd love to hear how things go for you! Add me as a buddy if you would like, and I'm always always always available for a chat.

How are you ladies doing with the program? Those crunches! You wouldn't think such a little thing could hurt but as many as Debbie has you do, it builds on you emoticon Are you doing the Slim & Limber? It really helps to do that daily if you have the time.
