fast food restaurants eating out tips

Hey guys! So today I was faced with a challenge, I was taken out to dinner and had no idea what to eat!! Tomorrow a friend is bringing me lunch but I am not sure what to ask for? could I still get something from a fast food restaurant or subway that would still be healthy? thanks!

Of course you can still eat at restaurants! But you just have to be careful on what you are order. At restaurants, order a salad with grilled chicken and veggies. Watch out for things like cheese and dressing. Lots of restaurants will puts tons of cheese on. And for the dressing, chose a light dressing or a vinaigrette. At Subway, get a chicken sandwich on a whole grain bread, no cheese, and not mayo or any of their other sauces. Just get mustard or something low in fat.

I get the tendergrill salad from Burger King if I am eating out. Or, as you mentioned, Subway (ham or roast beef, veggies, no cheese, mustard, wheat bread). Keep what you order simple with whole ingredients!

If you order a salad you can ask for the dressing to be put aside so you can add it yourself.

One advise i give to people about eating out, if you are going to a big chain restaurant, go check their website the day before. Most restaurant have the nutritionnal fact of their menu so you can see what are the healthy choices on the menu and decide what you will take before you go.
