Hi, first thanks for the laugh about the gas station bathroom - but - I gotta agree!
I travel for work, and so does my husband who travels internationally as well.
here's what I pack each day.
Cottage cheese with some pineapple chunks (yes it can be tricky to eat while driving - but hey give yourself minutes to eat it at a rest stop)
almonds
protein bar
Shakeology (or a meal replacement shake) that I can mix with some bottled water
string cheese
peeled (ahead of time) hard boiled egg
I'm sure there are more, but this is just what I've found to be the most convenient for me. A meal replacement shake is super easy (I've tried several types) but I drink it - it's done I move on.
Get a good lunch bag that keeps the temperature cool also.
