I am 24, 5'0" and 137 pounds with 30% body fat. I started doing Turbo Fire at 170 pounds with 36% body fat and have seen great results over a period of a year! However, I have plateaued since then and the plateau has lasted about 7 months now. I have not gained or lost any weight in a very long time and have been fluctuating between 135 and 138. I like where I'm at weight wise, but have been unable to lose the body fat that just sits on my mid-section. And when I say I have tried EVERYTHING, I have tried EVERYTHING. I've been to trainers, nutritionists... I've done detoxes and even changed my work out regimen. I was even doing the Insanity and ChaLean Extreme work out plan for months, and nothing has worked. I have since then turned to liposuction surgery as a possibility, but am trying my hardest to look for an alternative before I take that final step. Does anyone have any advice on how to TACKLE body fat? I'm desperate and obsessed, and it has been stressing me out. I love how I feel now, but I still am not satisfied with the way I look because I know I could look way better than I do now. PLEASE HELP!

starting out, I was eating 1600 calories a day... now I eat 1200. 4-6 meals a day.

I think you're probably eating to little. Your body will start to hold onto fat and any excess nutrients if you aren't fueling it properly. Doing beachbody workouts is no walk in the park, so I would look at that. Use the caloric needs tool on the site. Eat smart > nutrition tools. And see what that tells you.

Eating less doesn't always equal results.

I agree with Shay. Don't be afraid to increase your calories. Also, make sure your eating something, even just a snack, every 2-3 hours. You're body needs to know it's ok to burn off that remaining fat, as there's plenty of new, healthy, food coming in.

And congrats on what you have already accomplished. Extremely impressive!

How are you testing your body fat to ensure accuracy? can you list what your diet looks like please?
