I am getting lower back pain after doing the cardio abs workout, I think I am not taking the C position right. Any tips on how to get positioned well before starting the exercises?

Hey Benren,

You need to activate your core by drawing your abs to the back of your spine. Pretend like someone is going to punch you in the stomach......brace abs, but you still should be able to breath normal. Do not hold your breath! Practice in the mirror so that you can see your abs contracting. This will stabilize your lower back.

Thanks, what about the pelvis/waist, should I pivot my pelvis forward, and rest on my coccyx almost? Its the second time I get lower back aches from this routine so I must be doing something wrong. I probably am not holding my core tight enough, just want to know if something else might help too. I hate to have to take an extra day off or two because of pain.

Pelvis/waist should be in a nurture position. it could also be caused from a weak core. the stronger your core gets, the less pain you will have.
