Think about the reasons why you want to get fit. Is it for health, more energy, the ability to do things you used to do? Keep these priorities handy and constantly remind yourself. This is what helped motivate me.
Just think, if you start today, you will begin a path that will get you one step closer to your goals. If you do nothing today, you will gain nothing and might even move backwards. I know it is tough but the toughest part is getting started and so many on this forum have gone through similar situations- you have to ask yourself, why not you? You can definitely do it.
Do not worry about the other details in your life. They will come but if you are not healthy, you might sacrifice your other goals. As I say on my profile page, health doesn't guarantee happiness but without, it becomes impossible to achieve it. The richest man in the world would trade his fortunes if he couldn't walk, or breathe or function without pain just to be healthy. All the other things you have in your life will fall into place when you are physically and mentally well.
Just start and do your best. "friend me" if you would like to compare notes or keep motivating each other.
