BBL & Pregnant

Hey everyone! Im pregnant with my second child and BLOWING up like never before. Im only 18 weeks and I already have stopped running because its very uncomfortable. I just ordered Brazil Butt lift and plan on following this diet plan (with added healthy snacks) and workout plan. Has anyone else tried this? I was 6lbs away from pre-pregnancy weight 3 weeks after my first child was born and I want to be able to bounce back quickly with this one too. Thanks!

The moves with BBL are very intense lower body moves so just be sure to 'listen' to your body as your pregnancy progresses and you should be fine, of course also discuss the program with your physician too just so they will hear about any complaints that you may begin to make as your appts become more often and they will know that you are involved in this program to also advise you of when it may be time to quit until after giving birth.

You can also modify any of the jumping moves as there aren't alot with some of the workouts so it will be easy to do. It's great that you are wanting to stay fit and get a handle on things to make it easier for you after you deliver.

As far as following the meal plan with BBL it is rather low calorie but nutritious in choices so it will help you to eat clean[er] and therefore healthier however I'm certain that you will need to add in larger portions than what the program calls for by a few hundred calories [not loads more but some more yes]. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner together equal only 1000 calories so as you can see snacks will be needed and another great way to add in nutrition and healthy calories would be to consume a Shakeology Snack, which I like to have an hour prior to my workouts. You can play with adding in different fruits, milk instead of water [I personally use Almond Milk] and altho I haven't tried it yet, many of my friends also add peanut butter to theirs.

I trust this will help you and feel free to stay in touch. Congrats to you and your baby as well, Kathleen

This is a really great program, but like the previous post mentioned you would need to modify. Their is some floor work in some videos so as your belly expands it may be a bit difficult to be on your back. Just listen to your body. Good luck with the rst of your pregnancy.Th

Thanks to both of you for your insight. I planned on eating more calories then the program suggested but the meals in general seem very healthy. I'm starting it tomorrow along with walking a couple of times a week and I'm hoping this will keep me and my future son healthy! I can't wait to get in amazing shape after the baby comes! I feel like you really don't appreciate your body until you lose the ability to control it! I'm feeling very focused!!

Please speak with your doctor and since doctor might not know BBL at all, think about whether you should do it at all: you do not want you child to be inside of you as inside of a mixer or even shaker... it might not be good for your child and lead to complications... Discuss with your doctor what type of moves and what type of physical activities are right for you

Dear Melissa,

Hi there, I wondered how you were doing?

I am currently just coming up to 20 weeks and your story sounds really similar to mine. I lost loads of weight after my first child and with this one I have ballooned. So far 18lbs and counting. I have got to do something. I have got BBL but I am suffering from a large amount of procrastination even though I am so sad about my thighs!! I need to start making some changes quick.

I would love to connect with you as I really need some motivation and accountability!! I've sent you a buddie invitation.

Joni

Melissa and Joni - there is a prenatal workout available on Beachbody too! Yoga Booty Ballet - Baby on the Way. It was developed by one of the Beachbody trainers when she was pregnant, and is made especially for pregnant women. I think there is a lot you can do with BBL. I was doing a step circuit workout when I was pregnant with my second and it was too much + I grow BIG babies emoticon I wish I had stuck with it, I kept my weight gain and appetite in check while I was working out, but as soon as I stopped I ballooned and gained 70lbs. I have only just now lost all that weight and my youngest is 3.5... cautionary tale emoticon

Talk to your coaches too, they may be able to help with some suggestions!
