I absolutely hate Yoga X. I am not that flexiable and 3/4 of the work out I am sitting around because I cannot not do the moves. Is it alright to replace Yoga X with Stretch X? I have an easier time with Stretch X.

Thanks in Advance.

I didn't like Yoga X when I first started P90X, because it was so long was my only issue with. But when I got use to Yoga X it started get easier and I felt a lot better after completing it. But if you wanted to sub another workout for it I would do Cardio X. It has a combination of 4 different workouts within, and it includes a little bit of Yoga X. I sub Cardio X when I didn't feel like doing Yoga X.

I hope this helps,

Zane

Everybody hates it at first. It takes tons of practice and time to get all the moves down but its a crucial part of the program! I would not skip it. Work through it! It will help make you more flexible and help prevent injuries during other workouts! Give it time and keep working at it. It may grow on you eventually like it did me! Plus, stretch X does not burn the calories and give you the strength that yoga provides!

I would stick with yogax. I really hate yoga and 90 minutes of it is a nightmare, but I still do it because it needs to be done. Thats why its part of the program. You will get better the more you do it. Just do your best and stick with it, if you fall out of a pose just get back up and get back into the pose no matter how many times you need to do that. I did yogax today and i kept falling out of the balance postures where you stand on one leg and hold one leg out straight etc...I couldnt hold my balance for longer than 5 seconds..but i just kept getting back into the pose until it was done! Yoga is part of the program for a reason and I recommend you do it!

Thanks everyone for the tips. It just feels pointless to sit around because the furthest I can bend is right below my knee caps. I will do what I can with the Yoga X

Here we go... another yoga hater...;)
I'm not sure which has the most posts,
I hate the Yoga or reduce the cost of Shakeology. lol

I've posted on this so many times I'm just going to ask you to look at some of my old ones.
EVERYONE, including me, hated Yoga for the first 30-45 days, maybe even longer.
But...
Stick with it. You will find if you keep going with this entire P90 program, over time you will even start to ....... wait for it ..... LIKE IT! I kid you not ;)
It is hard and it is tough and it is long. No argument there, but in terms of an overall
workout it is the best DVD.
I've been at P90X, X+ and X2 for over 3 years now, and at 51 I will start cutting back soon, and the pull-up bar will be more for decorative purposes, but as long as i can walk and breathe, I will keep doing yoga.
Just start out doing what you can. You think anyone else can hold those
damn warrior 3, reverse half moon, and crane poses fresh out of the gate? lol
One thing you might consider is the X2 Yoga, it's only 67mins long.
