Less calories is bad?
Less calories is bad?
1/17/13 6:52 PM
Hi, my name is abel and i am having trouble with my calories, i am on week 5 of P90x and week 1 was nice and i had no problem during the 1800 calories but when i got to 3000 i could not do it, i get full so fast or just not hungry.
I am on phase 2(energy booster) and i sometimes eat a lot less calories than my goal, like today i had 1600.
Is it bad to eat less calories? I am 164 and lost 12lbs so far but i hope i'm not messing up.

PS. I lost 12lbs but i havent see my body much different but i do feel a lot stronger.
When will my body start transforming? I hate my love handles emoticon

Hi,
why are you having 3,000 calories? how did you calculate them? Are you looking into losing weight? First we have to clarify this point .

Phase 1,2 and 3 have levels and i thought every week you go up 1 level, i might be confused.
My goal is to get down to 150-155 and get rid of my love handles and a good definition of my body.

Ok, You have Phase 1, Phase2, and Phase, this are MONTH1 , MONTH2, and MONTH 3. The leveles are usually set ONCE and you will keep them for the whole 90 days. You do the calculation of your calories and lets say you need for the WHOLE program 2400 calories daily. Then your level is LEVEL II.. In Phase 2 and 3 you will have the same LEVEL.

I will need your age and height to do a correct calculation. Usually your coach should do this when he was assigned for you as I do with my members, but no problem. I have sent you a buddy invite. Accept and send me your age, weight and height and I will sent you a caloric analysis.

You need 2,262 to lose about 1 lb/week. Do not go less than 1,850 calories or you won't lose weight.

By the way we started a new P90X BootCamp last week, but you can stop by now and get your questions answered and for motivation and inspiration.

If you're going to copy and paste this in every thread (despite the pinned message on the main board), you could at least check the grammar. emoticon

It sounds like you are tracking which is great. In phase one try to make sure your macro % are 50 protein 40 carb & 20 fat. The fats should come from good sources - omega 3 & 6 & 9. Fish, nuts, hummus, avocado etc
