Loosing inches but not weight?
Loosing inches but not weight?
insanity weight loss muscles clothes several inches

I started Insanity in Dec but so far I"ve only lost 6lbs but have lost several inches on my waist, hips and legs.I have even went from a dress size of 14/16 to a 12/10 I can feel the muscles developing but I have not lost much fat. I have restriced the amount of carbs I eat and have cut out fast food as well as my beloved soda. Why hasn't the scale reflected what I feel in my clothes. I do plan on a second round of Insanity so what can I change to see more of a weight loss?

I'd be curious to know if you are tracking your actual caloric consumption? That is the first place I would look. Second, keep in mind that you are adding some muscle mass while you strengthen, and if you have less body fat to lose, the scale may not show a lot of change.

Hope this helps.

Its normal to lose inches and not weight at times. I always say that weight is just a number its how you look in the mirror and how many inches youve lost that really counts. Also you could be retaining water so the scale could actually be lieing to you. this is normal with intense exercise! Plus yes, we should look at your diet!
