Trouble with Form on carpet?
I do the workouts on carpet and I have seen a few reviews with people saying it really works your abs, I am not getting much of a workout in my stomach area and I was wondering if it was because I don't wear shoes and I cant really get the correct form when throwing jabs, hooks and uppers(etc)my feet drag and it doesn't give me a smooth transition to stay in correct form while punching quickly. any tips?

we have mats that we put down. They come in squares that you snap together. I use them on carpet and hardwood. We get them at Dicks Sporting goods. Reasonably priced too. Check them out.

I wear shoes for this workout and my workouts but I have bad arches. I would say that if you aren't feeling it in your stomach. Make sure you are engaging your core through the entire workout. A good way to check if your core is engaged is to laugh. Even a fake laugh will engage your core. My stomach is burning at the end of all these workouts. But you really have to pay attention to keeping your core engaged.

Form is important, however I don't see that working out on carpet should make a difference, I workout on carpet. Sometimes with shoes sometimes without. As CoachChris said, engage your core throughout the entire workout, dont forget to breath and make sure you keep correct form.
