
Today is day 1 of P90X with chest & back. I bet many are wondering why I am not doing Les Mills Combat. Well, it's not because I didn't like it, because I did. I just decided that I would join the team in doing the P90X challenge. There are six people on the team either starting or currently doing the program right now. I felt so motivated by this that I decided to start with them too! If anyone hasn't done a challenge group yet you should! The group support and motivation is so inspiring! We cheer each other on and it is just easier to push play knowing you are not only going to let yourself down, but everyone in the group too! If you want to join us

P90X Chest & Back
It's been almost a year since I've done the chest and back workout. I wasn't used to doing a full 60 minute workout plus the AB ripper X either. I pushed through and completed reverse grip, wide, close grip pullups. I tried to do between 8 to 10 with the pull up bar. I can only do two real pull ups and then used the chair to aid me for the rest. I also did diamond, wide, military and dive bombers. for push ups. I did 20 of each set of these. We also did a bit of weight lifting doing lawnmowers too.
After the workout I then completed the Ab Ripper X which always gets me winded! I am spent and burned 460 calories today. I drank my P90X Results and Recovery drink immediately after the workout and then drank Chocolate Shakeology with almond milk for breakfast. Bring it today!
