recovery drink twice in one day?
Occasionally, I'll do a double workout to try to make up for missing a day, in an effort to keep up with my schedule. When I do this, is it a bad idea to have a recovery drink (I'm using the P90X results and recovery) after both workouts? For example, today I did P90X Chest and Back, plus Ab Ripper, then had a recovery drink. Later in the day, I did P90X Plyometrics, and then had another recovery drink...is this a bad thing?

Hi, first of all I wouldn't do a double workout to make up as muscles don't work that way. Your body needs time to recover and grow, and if you do another workout while you are suppose to be resting you may overtrain, so it's a little of a gray area.

You should anyway take R&R after every workout, just be aware of keeping your nutrition ratios while doing this, as R&R has some sugar in it.

Don't try to "make up" a missed workout.That's not how it works. And, no, I wouldn't do recovery drink twice in a day unless you're riding the Tour de France.
