4 Weeks In - Get Serious On Monday - Please Read!
I used to play college football - At 21 I was 5 10 212 lbs Shredded, Could bench press 400 lbs, do 100 push ups 30 chin ups and run a 4.8 40 yard dash.

12 years later Im 248 lbs, fat, can't bench press the bar and probably can't run 40 yards without dying lol.

So I decided enough was enough and bought p90x.
I figured January would be a feeler month - I Know I can't work out 6 days a week right now I'll quit.
I tried to eat a bit cleaner but nothing crazy, still eat alot just a tad cleaner.

Day 1 I thought I was going to die. I could do 11 pushups, 0 chin ups and was sore for a week.

4 Weeks later (Yesterday) I did 31 pushups, maybe 2 1/2 chins and Im getting through the workouts easier.

I havent missed a weight workout but Im slacking with ploy, kenpo and yoga (JUST HATE IT)

Im told that I look so much better by co workers, friends, family, everyone. I can see my traps and bis and tris popping out like 10 years ago.

Problem is I haven't lost a lb yet. Not one. My pants do fit looser but Im kinda discouraged I still weight 245 lbs.

I can't do the plyo. My knees Kill. I have a Meniscus tear and I just cant do it.
Ive decided on a modified program starting Monday:

Im planning on doing 30 min of cardio each morning before work on my eliptical. EVERY DAY.
Im planning on doing:

Mon Chest / Back
Wed Shoulders / Arms
Friday Legs / Back
for phase one (Week 1-3)

Mon Chest / Back
Wed Shoulders / Arms
Friday Legs / Back
for phase one (Week 7-8)

Mon - Chest Shoulders Tris (4-6)
Wed - Back Bis Legs
Friday - Legs Back

Mon - Chest Shoulders Tris (9-10)
Wed - Back Bis Legs
Friday - Legs Back

So Im not really doing P90X Just using the workouts and doing something I really Want to do. Im planning on eating cleaner starting Monday and Im really Really Excited to be honest.
Wish Me luck.

Really this is a custom 10 week program Im going to try Which Will will end April 5th.

Good job on the 4 week mark!! It's all about improving and as Tony says--do your best and forget the rest. I think yoga is important because you are stretching and working on flexibility...you might want to try throwing it in every once in a while emoticon Are you doing ab ripper also?

As far as the weight--remember muscle weighs more than fat. I lost about 5-6 lbs but had to buy all new clothes. Plus muscle continues to burn calories long after the workout...where fat doesn't.

Clean eating is just as important--I am a firm believer that you get fit in the gym, you lose weight in the kitchen. If you need any help, let me know!

I might do the YOGA Sunday mornings with my Wife, she enjoys it.
Do you think this above workout would be OK?

I mean Im coming from nothing. I can't do it 6 days a week - I don't want to do it 6 days a week - I do want results but dont expect the amazing results as If I followed it to a tee - just want to look better and feel better.
