Hey, 10lbs in 2 weeks? Okay, that's freaking fantastic! Rather than worrying, you should be doing the happy dance right now!! (while patting yourself on the back!!)
Don't focus on the "what if's" but rather the "Hell Ya's" Focus on, wow, I can do this!! Sure, you've had 2 kids, and have thyroid disease, but that doesn't mean life is over. You've got off to a great start, so keep going with Insanity. If it helps, get rid of the scale until you're done. Measure yourself now, take before and after pics, measure your body fat percentage and then put that stuff away until you're done, or for a few weeks at least. Focus on getting stronger and fitter, and healthier.
And once Insanity is done, think about what you're going to do next. I would suggest a weight training program like P90X or chalene extreme. That will help boost your metabolism and sculpt your new body.
Stop worrying. Start celebrating! You can do it.
