Ok so I am in week 2 of my first round of insanity, and wheew it is tough but I push through every day and take as few breaks as possible I took my before photo and can see a change I lost 10 lbs so far which is great BUT I feel like nothing is gonna help me reach my goal like I know I am losing weight but now I barley want to eat anything at all even though I know I need to and I feel obsessed I worry all day every day what if I cant lose anymore weight. I was in the military and had a great and healthy body then got out had 2 kids and bam got huuuge turns out I have thyroid disease and lots of water weight I have tried everything and nothing works I guess I needed a boot camp type workout to get my butt in gear but now it is making me turn into a mad woman! lol any advice on how to shake this feeling? I am just really putting my whole heart into this and I am so worried lol

Hey, 10lbs in 2 weeks? Okay, that's freaking fantastic! Rather than worrying, you should be doing the happy dance right now!! (while patting yourself on the back!!)

Don't focus on the "what if's" but rather the "Hell Ya's" Focus on, wow, I can do this!! Sure, you've had 2 kids, and have thyroid disease, but that doesn't mean life is over. You've got off to a great start, so keep going with Insanity. If it helps, get rid of the scale until you're done. Measure yourself now, take before and after pics, measure your body fat percentage and then put that stuff away until you're done, or for a few weeks at least. Focus on getting stronger and fitter, and healthier.

And once Insanity is done, think about what you're going to do next. I would suggest a weight training program like P90X or chalene extreme. That will help boost your metabolism and sculpt your new body.

Stop worrying. Start celebrating!

You can do it.

Thank you so much. Yes I need to start giving myself more credit I guess.. I am just so ecited that this has truly become a life style change for me I love the way I feel now even though I have a long way to go I love that I feel healthier and so much more confidence just knowing I am doing something productive that will ultimatly change my life and my kids lives. It most important to me to be healthy for them so i can live a long happy life and show them how to be healthy in the process instead of the ever so popular fast food fad.
