First things first, take a deep breath and relax! You have made it to day 22! That is further than a lot of people do! So keep it up!

Now I can understand you are eating healthy, but do you know how much you are taking in daily calorie wise? And how much your calorie intake goal is? Because even though you can be eating healthy you can actually be eating too little and that will make the body retain weight! Same goes with water intake! So if you don't mind can you give us your Height, weight and age so we can help you out with this if you don't already know?

And don't forget the scale is your ENEMY! Muscle weighs more than fat and looks better! Have you noticed any physical or energy change? Have you lost inches or grown stronger/gained more endurance? How are your fit test results?

Keep up the awesome work! You can do this emoticon

Hi!!!!
Can I assume you are a girl? If so, we have a thread about how long it took us to get to losing and having our bodies change:

Girls Only emoticon

Insanity is a HARD program and you should be proud of yourself for doing it! You must also understand that your body is in shock the first weeks and will retain water and acids as you get used to the jolts and the muscle growth.

May sure you track your progress in these ways: 1) Take pictures - you can't see in a mirror what you see in pictures! 2) Measure yourself with a measuring tape - you will see the inches melt away after a few weeks. 3) Do the fitness tests. You will see progress in all of these areas. I recommend you put away the scale for now.

You should also be eating more protein - that will help you build muscle. If you want help setting up an account to track, send me a message. You should create an account on myfitnesspal.com (it's free) so that you can track your protein and other macros.

Most of all - don't give up!!!! This is a super program and it will change your body if you keep at it! Sometimes the change starts from within - and I am betting you are converting fat to muscle as we speak emoticon

Woo!!! Now those are some AWESOME improvements so far! Keep up the awesome work! Now I'll definitely tell you, the physical results start to REALLY shine through (if you are following the nutrition guide) during Month 2! You'll notice an even bigger change in both pace and intensity (Yes, it gets tougher!) Lol. But you can so do this!

As far as your intake level, shoot for anywhere between 1600-2200 calories! I know some of it sounds like a lot, but remember just like it says in the guide that came with the program break them down into 5 meals a day! And when making these adjustments go by what your body needs! You shouldn't be starving during the day, but not forcing yourself to eat! But also give it a week or 2 to really judge the impact!

Im trying to.see if i can get the shakeology for the second month but i'm still iffy on it. Should I? Work makes it difficult to eat on time, but i do try to get my 5 meals in every day. I drink a lot more water now than i did before i started insanity. I either drink water or tea, but thats about it. but as far as the meal book, well my daughter got ahold of it and its been missing for a bit so i just go off of memory of what i read.

In all honesty shake-o is definitely something worth investing in. I was the same way when I first started off and actually didn't use it my first round of Insanity. I like the boost it gives in energy, and let me tell you I absolutely LOVE the taste of the new customer approved chocolate one too! It tastes amazing! Lol. I encourage you to try it, get a one month supply and use it every day for two weeks, if you like the boost then definitely keep going with it, if not then don't fret too much we can talk over returning it! Or even look into the R&R formula for your recovery!

My dog got my Insanity nutrition guide 2 weeks after I got it so it was beat up pretty bad! Lol. What you could utilize is the Meal plan on here! It will definitely help out! And if you get a chance give us a breakdown of what you eat daily, or track it using something like myfitnesspal.com

And just to add in, it isn't harder for women to get results! To see the physical results at their max it's all about the food! No matter what!

You can download the book online...
