New moms- how do you do Insanity while caring for Little One?
I am finding it so hard to do my Insanity workouts because I have this baby that needs constant attention. How do you moms do it? I have tried waiting till he goes to bed to do the workouts but I lose motivation because I'm so exhausted. I do well if I work out right after I come home but the problem is that he wants mommy to carry him or play with him when I get home. I'm finding it hard to get into a routine - how do you do it?

Hey,

I know!!! It is SO hard. My little guy is nearly five months old and I have been struggling with this same issue since he was born. Tough! The only way to do it is just to get motivated and to do it when he goes to sleep or when he is calm and doesn't want you. That is the only way. When I get home from work, that is when I workout, he is usually exhuasted and I can put him down for a nap and that is when the workout can happen. If you need motivation help let me know, that is one thing I can help with. But yeah, it is tough, I'm with you on that one.

I had the same issue! It is very tough. My little guy is now 18 months old and he still tries to distract me all the time. I usually get up a little earlier and try to get my workout in before he gets awake. Is it possible for another family member to come over and watch the baby until you are finished? If not, try doing it when the baby takes a nap. You may feel exhausted but after doing Insanity you will feel energized! Insanity was my favorite program! Good Luck!!

I did it during my little ones early morning nap. We kind of got on a nap schedule so I would workout during her first morning nap. Since she was still so young (15 weeks old) if she woke up before the workout was over I put her in the swing. It was important to me to finish each workout and she would just swing and watch me. Hope that helps and you can get your workouts in! emoticon
