Smashed it! Great abs! What's next for you now? I'm starting my first round of insanity next weekend after a week of nights. I hope I can get abs like those...

I used to be a gym rat that spent all my time lifting weights and not really concentrating on much cardio. Even tho at the time I looked in shape, my ability to maintain a high level of cardio output was terrible. I had not worked out in 7 years and decided to get after it again. Did the Insanity fit test and it kicked my butt. This was a tough thing for me to come to terms with. I did a couple weeks of treadmill work to try to get to where I could attempt Insanity. When I started I had to really push myself just to keep from pushing stop. Never sweated that much in my life. I had heard people talking about a "runners high" that runners get. I actually got an "Insanity High" from doing the exercises. I was in a much better mood....slept better....ate better. I stuck with a reasonable diet rewarding myself with 1 meal of my choice each week. I thought the diet part would be tough because I love good southern cooking, but the workouts are soooo tough that the last thing I wanted to do was sabotage all that by eating junk. Had a wreck in August that has hindered my ability to do any weight training, but when the doc gives me the ok I plan on doing an Insanity/P90x hybrid. Good luck to all and keep after it!!
