Insanely Disappointed with my results and the entire program
I am on day 50 yes 10 days away from finishing the 60 day challenge and to say i am disappointed with my results is a understatement. first off i am grateful because the program has helped my knees, i really am but in terms of inches lost, weight loss the program didn't work for me at all.

Before anyone asks i followed the nutrition guide, i watched what i ate and i lost a total of 2 lbs and less then a inch off my waste to the point where I have looked at before and after pics and i dont see a difference. I will not recommend this program to anyone who wants to loose weight, when you put in 100% effort and get no results in return. I will do the program maybe a few times a week for my knees but thats it

thanks insanity appreciate it.

Did you follow the diet 100% of the time? You definitely have to make sure you're on point even when cravings kick in. Did you push through the workouts? Or did you press pause and take a breather for a while? Maybe doing two rounds would give you better results. I'm going on my 3rd week and already see results.

RE: Insanely Disappointed with my results and the entire program
2/7/13 3:08 AM as a reply to Mklostermann25.
sorry for the late reply, i don't come on here much seeing as i am so frustrated with the whole program and beachbody in general. I followed everything and got nothing in return. I gave it my all too the point of exhaustion at the end, i pushed though it and never pressed pause once.

My before and after pics are so marginal its rather depressing....

What's your sleeping pattern like? What types of foods were you eating?

It's a lot deeper than sleep patterns and eating habits. Without a full work-up of your physical and chemical dynamics there really isn't a lot of advice to offer. The plain truth is that the program works wonderful for some people and not so much for others. If you did a search on the message board you'd find numerous other people who have the same complaint. I'm glad you gave it your 100% effort though and maybe you'll see the differences outside of physical appearance. Did you gain any cardio endurance? Did your measurements get better? Not just your waistline, but other areas.

My results vary from round to round of Insanity. If I do back-to-back I see major loss in the waistline and other problem areas. It's always been this way for me after four years of doing the program a few times a year. The 63 days just aren't enough to get my body going. I can however tell a major difference in my cardio endurance after the first month though. I've even gauged it by going diving without doing Insanity and going after one round of Insanity. I usually suck down a tank of air at 60 feet in less than an hour without doing Insanity. After I do Insanity that figure is cut in half so I know my endurance is much better.

If you're frustrated then there's not a lot anyone can say that will change your mind, but please understand that there are other measurements of fitness that can be encouraging.

I agree with you! The program does seem to work great for some people and not so great for others. We all have something that works and the hard part is finding it! For me Insanity did kick start my weight loss and I am so glad I started my journey with Beachbody products on June 28, 2010. I went from 151 to 107 and have successfully completed several programs and never slipped! As far as the eating plan is concerned, I am going to be straight up honest and write that I did not follow it to a T at all! I track my foods on Myfitnesspal and eat a 50/25/25 ratio and maintain beautifully! I eat things other people would freak out about in moderation and maintain a little over 9% body fat with some kickin abs emoticon I love Beachbody products!
