Question for all you P90X Pros
Hey Everyone,

I finished Insanity and am halfway through The Asylum and my next program is P90X (just ordered it today). From what I understand, P90X focuses on lifting with some cardio for the workouts. I'm fine with that but a little worried about losing the cardio stamina I have built with Shaun T. For anyone who has done both, is the P90X cardio enough to maintain my current cardio level, or should I think about incorporating additional cardio workout time into my day? Or should I just throw myself into P90X and not worry about cardio? Any insight would be great, thanks!

Nice job doing the programs to date! P90X's cardio is different than Insanity...not as intense but I would try it out first as you may like it and find it enough to maintain during the program. Another great option is to do a P90X/Insanity hybrid which I have done which takes all the resistance, stretching and yoga of P90X and mixes in the cardio of Insanity...

Let me know if you have further questions...

Thanks for the tip, Mike. I was thinking of doing the hybrid but didn't know if I should do it right out of the gates, or if I should do a complete cycle of P90X first. I think I will follow your advice and start the P90X and see how I'm feeling.

Thanks again!
