Asylum 2 Review
Asylum 2 Review

I'm searching for reviews for Asylum 2 from people who have done the program. After I finish Combat, I'm looking at doing an Asylum/Combat Hybrid, but also wondering what differences there were between Asylum 1 and Asylum 2?

Hi.

To start have you done Asylum V1? If not,I would recommend doing that first. You can just jump right into Asylum V2,but V1 really sets you up for 2.Asylum V2 is a very physical workout that pushes you to points you don't think are possible, but you make yourself strive to do it.IT'S AWESOME.I just started Combat after doing two rounds of Insanity, then Asylum followed by two rounds of Asylum V2.Asylum V2 has a great mix of plyo and some really good weight training that really puts you into shape.

If you're looking to get great results then Asylum V2 is definitely an awesome choice.

Hope I helped you some.

Keith

Asylum 1 is more of an extensation of Insanity with the focus on being more athetlic. Volume 2 is a more complete program then 1 using weights and great cardio conditioning. I've got 20 days left of Combat as well then going back to the P90x/Asylum hybrid. Volume 2 also has a lot more difficult ladder agility work.

Thanks. Yes I've completed one and really enjoyed it. Sounds like Asylum 2 may be great to add to my collection.

Asylum 2 is awesome. Shaun T at his craziest. The agility sequences are very challenging.

If you do Av2, I strongly recommend you do the Agility Tutorial several times to get the routines down so you don't have to think about them during the workouts. I felt totally spazzy for quite a while but got them down pretty well over time.

Good luck.

I just finished Combat and have embarked on a 90 day P90X 1 and 2 and Asylum 1 and 2 hybrid. Pretty fun so far. It has been a long time since I did old school P90X. I did P90X2 last year.

Carry on.

I agree 100% about doing the agility tutorial before starting X-Trainer since you will be lost with out.
