Let's get pumped and HAMMER DOWN!!!

I created this thread ultimately to bring together a group of people committed to Insanity and ready to ROCK their fitness!!

I myself am a true beleiver in the program! I have done Insanity a couple rounds through and am not exaggerating when I say I LOVE the program! If you haven't started yet get ready to change your life!

My job as a coach is to help you and support you in your fitness goals and that is MY goal! So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.....ASK QUESTIONS! The coaches on this website are amazing and are all here for your benefit! They truly care about you and seeing you along your journey to a healthier fitter you!

I can tell you that I was always the on and off workout person. I would get all into it and then fall off the wagon for a year or 2 but let me tell you that Team Beachbody really changed all of that! My coach is amazing and thouroghly inspired me along the way! And now I want to pay it forward! I want to help as many as I can to "End the Trend" of obesiety!

I am dedicating this thread to YOU! Let's help each other get healthy! If you want to offer your support to someone, do it! Help motivate? Do it!

Not only is this thread for motivation and support but also to keep accountability!
Post it! Tell me you did your workout today! Tell me you didn't want to but did it and how great you feel! Maybe someone else is having the same feeling and seeing your post will help them Push Play!

I'm on day 19!!! LOVE IT!!! I can't believe where I am compared to where I started. I am know at the stage where I am almost looking forward to the workouts!! First week I had to force myself to start a one, second week was a little better but I started enjoying it. Now almost at the end of week 3 and I started getting pumped before I push play. I NAILED my second fit test. One thing I noticed is that scales are EVIL!!!! I lost 10 pounds the first 4 days (270 to 260), but I knew it was all water weight. I changed my diet and started drinking water like crazy the same day I started insanity. I told myself that I would not get on the scales again until day 30. Well this morning I made a mistake and jumped on the scales...257. Three pounds is not bad, but would expect more. Then I got dressed and remembered how much better my clothes are fitting and that I have had to tighten up my belt. That made me feel a lot better!! Taking pictures tonight so I can really see the difference I am feeling!!!

Sounds like you are ROCKIN it too!!! Love to hear when people fall in love with Insanity the way I did! So glad to hear you pushing through it and that's what it takes to get it done, I can tell you have committed to getting your health in check and that's where it all starts is in your head! On here it is a great tool to keep yourself in check and I can help by offering suggestions. Are you in communication with your coach? If so you can ask your coach if he/she is on there as well and see if they will do the same. That way it's just one more way to succeed!If you need a coach, I would be happy to help you! On the scale...AGREED! I actually got a ladder and put mine up on my highest shelf, lol! It really helps! Did you take your pics? Just for you personally to see the difference, also take your measurements, these are all motivational tools for those days you hit a hole and need a boost of encouragement! Hope this helps! Keep us updated on your progress!

I am in contact with my coach. He is really great!! I've known him a long time and it helps that he is just the kind of guy you really don't wanna let down. A little extra motivation!!! I did get the pics taken and I can see some improvement...I'd like a little more but it's only been 19 days so I am happy. The main thing is I feel GREAT!! It took me 15 years to do this to myself, it's not gonna be fixed in 19 days...I have a long road ahead but its not where you start its where you finish!!!

I really want to connect with other people going through or been through the same things as I. One day I hope to be the one helping others, but I gotta get my $%&# together first.

Good! I'm glad you have support in place! Definitely going to help you by being in contact with people! I am waiting on confirmation for a grip as well so when i get the info i will let you know! Keep up the good work! It's a process but you sound well on your way! You got this! Definitely keep in contact with your coach when you are ready to become one! You have a great positive attitude I'm sure you will do great when you are ready! Let us know how your workouts go! Did you do today yet?

starting Insanity Monday 1/28/13...came here looking for some encouragement and accountability.
I'm 35/M and have been active and in shape, but more on again-off again (more off lately)
I've done long distance running (halfs and a couple full marathons)
but lately I've cut my running and gained weight over the holidays.
I dusted off my old original Power90 DVD and did some 3-5 mile runs in last few weeks just to get in some kind of shape...but now it's time to start pushing play on Insanity.
I'll check back and keep up on what I'm doing.

I'm starting tomorrow on Insanity and am looking forward to it! I know that it'll be tough but I'm ready to change my life and my body in the process. I'm 21 and a student from the UK. I'm also particularly determined this time to stick with it because I'll finish the program days before my birthday and would love to have a trimmer body, giving me 2 reasons to celebrate!

Hi! I am starting tomorrow 1/28/13! I am excited and a little nervous! I watched the Fit Test and thought holy crap this isn't even the tough stuff! But I am up for the challenge. I had my boyfriend take my before shot tonight and was so embarrassed by the pics. Then i thought, i can't wait to see my after shot! I just told myself, thats the last time I ever have to take such a humiliating picture. I am ready for a radical change!

Any pointers?

Post your fit test results tomorrow!!!



Well, I just finished my fit test! First off, I did half of it and then I think my body went into shock or something! I felt shaky, kinda nauseous and broke out in a weird sweat. I had to stop for a little bit to compose myself. Then I got back on the horse and finished! I am proud of myself for that alone!! My results weren't pretty, but here they are:

1. Switchkicks 42
2. Power jacks 40
3. Power knees 78
4. Power jumps 25
5. Globe jumps 5
6. Suicide jumps 9
7. Push up jacks 8
8. Low plank oblique 33

My energy definitely lessened after my little attack (after the power knees) as you can probably tell, but I'm happy I finished. I can't wait to see the progress!

Also, my feet were KILLING me. I have good nike cross trainers too. Will the pain subside as I get used to the intensity?

Sounds like you're off to a GREAT start!!! You have all your pics and everything in line! Awesome!!! So in your first post you asked for pointers, one thing is something you already did for your fit test!! Push through it! Good job!!! I love your determination and that's what you need to do this! Remember to take as many breaks as you need just make sure you finish, you will be glad you did!!

Keep active on the website, this thread is here to help so take advantage of it! So many people on here want to see you succeed but we can only help if you communicate! I think the greatest part of finishing Insanity was that T-shirt!!! I wanted it so bad and I wanted to EARN it! I did and it's one of my favorites!!

Good job on the fit test, remember, it's your guide to watch how you improve! And I guarantee, stick with Shaun T. and you WILL improve!

Ok so you said your feet hurt, can you give me a bit more on how and were? Arches? Toes? Where exactly? It could actually be your shoe size even. Let me know and I can give a bit more advice in that area! Good job Stephy!

Coach Amy, I am in too! I am on week 2 will be doing cardio recovery later on today (I work nights) I lost 2.2 lbs the first week and am stoked about it, water weight or not I will take it. I did do Insanity, well half of it in 2010 and saw great results but then became so fearful of the intensity and never wanted to touch it again. Well that has changed, this year I am focusing on a lifestyle change and trying to shed all of this belly fat so I can find my six pack!!

I just bought insanity n im suppost to get it on the 2nd. Im super excited but I'm really intiminated. I have asthma n its been really bad lately so I dont know if ill be able to do the work out with out taking alot of brakes.
