insanity fat loss

I'll be finishing Insanity week 3 today as I started January 7th as well. My problem is that I'm not losing weight emoticon one week I gained 2 lbs & this week I loss 2 lbs. I always see people talk about how they see major fat loss & lose 20+ lbs. I don't follow the meal plan but I clean eat. I have 38 lbs to lose until my goal weight & I don't see my legs or arms toning yet either. I feel like I'm putting in all the work & seeing no results. I don't know if I should finish the program or go back to doing cardio until I'm in like the 160's & THEN do insanity? Am I just being impatient? Some pleaseee help me!

I started January 7th as well . I havent noticed much weight loss besides 2 or 3 lbs but I have noticed a smaller and toner stomache/upper body and other people have noticed it too. As for my legs,I havent noticed much of a change but its still early. I would stay with it ! Im also going to start adding running before I do my insanity video to see if it helps speed up the process

Welcome to INSANITY!!! Good job you are in week 3! I hope this info helps, I too was exactly where you are! Have you talked to your coach about this? Week 3 is when I felt like you are now, just a few tips here. Be patient! I promise if you keep up the program you WILL see results, I didn't see mine until the END of month 2, then, let me tell you it was droping off like crazy! You say you are eating clean which is what I do but it may also be what and when you are eating. If you use My Fitness Pal my username is dirtbikechk and I could take a look at what you are eating, it may just be a small tweek. You are doing great don't stop before you get to see the results. Did you take measurements and pics before? Seriously, I put my scale up out of my reach so I didn't even have the temptation. How are your clothes fitting? Any difference? I would love to help out in any way I can! If you want to add me as a buddy you can message me any info you may not want public. Keep up the good work!!!

Okay it's great to know I'm not the only one! I haven't talked to a coach yet but I'm glad you're willing to help me emoticon I didn't take measurements before but I will definitely do so today. I took measurements at my highest weight & definitely saw that lost inches from my start in July 2012. I used to have a myfitnesspal but I found counting calories time consuming & I was pretty forgetful to log my cals. Hopefully I start to see fat loss in the second month I just always get discouraged when I don't see immediate results. I'm thinking about adding running along with insanity but I feel like I'll burn myself out. My clothes are definitely loser though even my new size 13's are baggy now which I wish I didn't buy now -.- haha you've convinced me to stick to it though! Is there stuff I should be eating more of? I typically eat eggs, chicken, fish, no red meat, basmati rice, wheat everything (bread, tortillas, pasta) & I watch my portions. I thought I was doing everything right seeing how I lost 50lbs just running and doing random HIIT work outs off YouTube. Then I finally reached the 180's & decided to challenge myself with Insanity assuming the fat would fly off. I want to tone my arms/legs too & I don't know if insanity alone will do that. Will it by month 2?

Yes, get those measurements as soon as possible, this along with the pictures gives you a great comparison to look at! You would be surprised at some pics! Sometimes people won't lose weight but go down in sizes just from the pure transformation of fat to muscle! It's amazing how our bodies work. Just remember you have a unique body just as each of us do, so it's best to compare you to you. That's where the pics come in handy!
I understand on my fitness pal, however once you take the time to set some things up it makes it alot faster, even a couple things like "multi add" can cut your time and make it way easy to use! If you are interested in trying it again I could give you some tips on using it if you like!
As for your nutrition, CONGRATS on a 50lb weight loss! That's awesome! Obviously you ARE doing something right. It may be just a slight tweak as far as maybe how much bread type carbs even though they are wheat they need limited. If you friend my in MFP and even just log a couple days I'd be happy to check it out for you and see if I could offer some adviceemoticon
Don't worry about Insanity being enough to tone! It will get the job done! I don't know your measurements but sometimes it takes longer for others, for me it took all of the 2 months but then it was FAST!! Just give it time and stick to it! You can do it! You are almost 1/2 way there why give up all that work now?
Are you using Shakeology to replace one meal a day?

Okay I'm taking all your advice to heart! No, I don't have Shakeology :/ I don't have anything he recommends int he meal plans. I will definitely add you on MFP!

Ok sounds good! I just sent you some info it should be in your inbox. I will get you some info on the Shakeology as well, it really is another great tool, lots of great nutrients and even gluten free which I LOVE!!
