P90X Nutritional meals

I am on my fourth week of the P90X program and the nutritional part of the program is proving to be tougher than I had expected, in fact I am barely meeting the daily calorie value which I need....

I am a reasonably good cook, but I don't have the time to cook a 45 or 30 minute meal all o the time.. And now four weeks in, I am feeling like I am not getting the full results I would be if I were eating properly.
My problem is, I need meal ideas which are quick, easy and hearty... I haven't had a real "meal" for a while and I feel can't keep eating portions of food, one cup of spinach and one chicken breast at a time... Lol

I can't eat seafood, either... But what I really wan to eat is some lasagna! Or maybe chili!

If you have a VIP account here you can use the meal planner part of the website to find some meals. Also you can take a look at skinny taste and skinny ms. They are both great websites with meals that my wife and I use all the time to stay healthy. The programs, meal planner, and those sites helped me reach my fitness goal, I am 121 lbs smaller and won last month's beachbody challenge. Check out the video on the home page. I am Justin B in the 30-39 age range.

Hi Matt!

Love P90X! It was my first program! Can you do more prep on the weekends or day off? I often make a batch of chicken on the weekends. Cut up veggies etc. How low are you in calories? Are you getting in good fats? This gets more calories.

Can you post a example of a day? Do you track?

How are you liking P90X?
