I would totally love a ChaLean Extreme coach! But I'm hardly ever on here though. I use MFP to log food and exercise. I'm usually on there. If you wouldn't mind emails I could sure use the help. Thanks...Deanna

God Bless you. This is my 2nd time around with ChaLean Extreme. The first time I did all the lift days but wasn't so good with the cardio days. I'm trying to do the cardio days this time around. I am starting my 3rd week of the Burn Phase tomorrow. I workout very early morning before getting ready for work. I have not been following the eating plan. As I said I use MyFitnessPal to log food. I have a BodyMedia Fit and burn on average 1900-2000 calories a day. I usually eat between 1500-1700 per day.

No problem!! The cardio days are the hardest for me too, so do not fear. I have a new Challenge Group starting on Feb 25th, I will be sure to add you, even if you have already started the cycle. Until then, facebook me with any questions, concerns etc!! I will look into your calorie intake/burn and see if we can come up with a meal plan for you so that it sticks. emoticon

Also, you can update your coach status on your Beachbody profile emoticon

Hi i am new to this website and forum and i have done this program before but a few years ago. I would like to start working out this coming monday though. it would be nice to get some support and i have been looking for someone to kind 0f coach me anyways so this sounds perfect. My only problem is the cardio because i have problem with my right ankle i cant do the whole jumping around thing, but i have an exercise bike and an eliptical.. i can dance but i just cant jump up and down. Do you have any suggestions as to what i can do for that?

The cardio is often where people tend to give up on, but it is so essential to make this program work. If you have noticed that Chalean always has someone working out beside her that does modifications, follow them. Just take out the jumping, and do the remaining movements. As long as you are giving it your all in what you are able to do, thats what counts.

I have an Accountability Challenge Group starting on Feb 25th, it would be great for you to join! I'll be giving tips with fitness, nutrition and lifestyle. It will keep you motivated on a daily basis.

Hello!
I would love to have a Chalean extreme coach! And I'm a main facebook user too. emoticon I am just starting my own program of ChaLEAN extreme but I had a question about the rest days. Do we have to rest on those days or just not do the ChaLean extreme? because I have other workouts and usually workout every day except maybe once a week, and usually I have no choice because I do ballet for two hours every day except Sunday. Is a full rest day really necessary? Because many programs emphasize working out every day.

It is important to let your body rest. However, the key is that it is not recommended to do anaerobic exercise on the same muscle group two days in a row, you will over work the muscle and end up doing more damage than good. With CLX, the program is specifically designed to work different muscles on certain days, with the rest days where they are so that the muscles are not over worked. Also, with CLX, the workout is extreme, therefore do not need to workout everyday. Do not get me wrong, some sort of exercise every day is great! Walking, swimming, hiking and if you are not seeing any fatigue, ballet. Listen to your body, and mostly, take a day OFF!!
