Hi, Weight Watchers does not offer enough calories to do P90X. You will go into starvation or storage more if you do WW and P90X. Your best best is to follow P90X nutrition guide for a healthy number to calories to lose weight AND build muscle.

Let me know any questions.

Hello. You will get much better results eating whole foods and clean foods then doing weight watchers. You will need to be eating alot more protein and healthy carbs while doing P90X then weight watchers will allow you if i remember right. Your gonna want to make sure your eating enough calories to sustain your energy levels and to keep your body repaired from the rigorous exercise! If you eat clean you will have the best results. Weight watchers allows you to go off the diet a bit. In my opinion i wouldnt recommend mixing the 2.

I have team members that use WW for their nutrition plan and are dropping weight really well. Just know that if it doesnt work for you a coach will probably not be able to help you evaluate why you are not losing or gaining weight. I tell my team use what works for you but when you come to me and say I'm eating 35 points a day and not losing weight. I have no idea how many calories that is or if you are eating 35 points in chocolate cake. I suggest using myfitnesspal to also track what you are eating to help you track calories, protein, carbs, and fat so you get a clear idea of what kind of points you are actually consuming. Larry's advice is exactly right. It can work but you're mixing apples and oranges, really.

Hi Brown51912,

WW and P90X can work together. WW is all about choices...I've lost 42 lbs on WW. My advice to you would be, use the nutrition plan for P90X as your guide and focus on Power Foods...eating clean on WW is no different than eating clean on any other plan. WW allows you to eat "dirty" foods...but that's a choice. If you want solid results from P90X, eat clean.

Coach Alberto - please be advised that telling someone that WW doesn't offer enough calories is simply not true. WW members have daily points, weekly points, and activity points that they can use toward food. Extra activity affords members to eat more. I have enough points each week to eat more than enough to support my P90X2 workouts.

Good luck Brown51912...if you need any guidance with WW, let me know...I'm a lifetime member, so I can provide you some support on that side, if you need it.

Thank you everyone for all your answers and support. Was wondering, I got my P90X videos from a friend and they cannot seem to find their nutrition guides... I'm wanting to continue with the weight watchers but eat clean foods and go off of the food guide they give you--- is there anyway someone can get me the food guide for P90X?

All of your answers really are helpful thank you all so much!! emoticon

Start by reading all you can under the "Eat Smart" tab above. In particular look at Michi's Ladder and use the Caloric needs calculator to figure out how much you should be consuming in calories, not WW points. Then come back here with any questions

Hi -

I'm half way through p90x and love the workouts. However, no weight loss for me. Actually up 2 pounds. I'm looking to lose 8-10 pounds and I'm struggling. Have thought about trying WW online.

For the WW folks - do you think WW would be a good plan for me?

Omg, i would love help..

I started WW 3 weeks ago, 2lbs lost, and started P90x a week ago, today startes week 2 day 1.
Should i be eating all my points, i feel like mabybe i shouldn't. I am a big runner, but decided to do p90x because i did it 3 years ago and it worked well, but i was nursing not really watching what i ate too much, so its hard for me to tell what i did that helped.

Hi Carol,
I've seen MANY discussions on these boards about weight, and what I've found to be true for most people doing P90x is hard for many to accept: You cannot use the scale to accurately evaluate your progress. Because you're building lean muscle mass at the same time you are burning fat, what you are most likely to experience is a complete change in BODY COMPOSITION - a total change in the actual material your body is made of. The scale is not an instrument that can measure this. If you can get away from using the scale and instead evaluate how LEAN your body is becoming, you'll be on the right track to REAL success with P90x. I promise you, if you weigh the same 90 days from now but your body is made of lean muscle and less body fat, you will be VERY excited about what you see in the mirror. emoticon
