Well, I did the Warrior Dash this weekend (as you can see from my pic

) and I had an absolute blast! I did really well with my time, except having to wait for a few of the obstacles. The rest of us had the same issue so I wasn't too concerned. A lot of people were going around the obstacles which to me was so stupid. Why would you go all that way to do a obstacle race, just to go around them? Yeah, so your time was better. Who cares?! To me those people were missing the point. My knee was killing me after! ugh

When we were going through ice cold water in the obstacles it actually helped my knee pain, like it was getting an ice bath. By the time I finished it was on fire and during the course of the next few hours that followed it got worse and worse. So my plan is to not run this week, continue my ice, heat, stretch, foam rolling, and regular asylum workouts (not plyo, I think it's too much of an impact on the IT band) and try and run next sunday. I'm gonna rest again Monday, then again Saturday as well. If the run doesn't go well Sunday, the I unfortunately am not going to be able to do the half... I hope that is not the case cuz I have really been looking forward to it.
