I must be doing something wrong...
Im on day 33 of insanity and i seem to be gaining instead of losing. Im eating the right calories so im going to try to add my own workout ontop of insanitya

I heard that your BIGGEST results will come from when you are absolutely EXHAUSTED. So, even if you are exhausted, try and do one more push up, or just a FEW more mountain climbers, even if you have to modify them! Also, your BIGGEST changes will come next month! Just WAIT!!

Yes i do it till i feel like my legs are gonna give emoticon but ill push myself more. I feel great though but i want that to reflect physically too

You may not be noticing some of your early changes, but I can see fairly dramatic improvement in your back, especially underneath your sports top. Keep going!

I see improvement in your back and under your sports bra. I finished my first round 3-4 wks ago and I did lose but not as much as I thought I would.emoticon I guess I thought I was going to be cut up after one time of doing it.emoticon But sometimes I think if you have a lot to lose, it's going to take a few rounds to get where you want to be. emoticon I started my second round this week. Let's see how much more I can lose. I kept off what I had lost last time around. I do have more energy and I am not as tired and out of breath as I was before. I can do 4 flights of stairs no problem. Before my arm would start hurting and I was breathing as if I had just ran the 100 yard dash. Keep going! It's true about seeing most of the results in the second month. Even If you lose some weight/inches, it's a start to being healthy. Life long change. emoticon I am in it for life!!! emoticon

Are you 100% sure you are eating the right amount of calories? Have you used something like my fitness pal? It is a mobile app that is free to download. Pretty good tool to count calories. I was about 700 calories short when I did the math the first time through. That was why I wasn't losing weight, I actually gained weight. Check the meal plan because month two the ratios change

Also how clean is your diet? That plays a huge role in it too.
Month two you should see a difference, that is where I started to notice it.

Bottom line - don't give up. Just by doing the workouts every day you are making a difference!

I can see results in your back and stomach. You probably can't notice them because you see yourself every day. Keep it up because it is definitely working!

You're doing everything right if you are seeing results! Don't beat yourself up. What I've come to realize is most of the people who have the body & results I want did a lot of things that I must remind myself to do.

1. Stick to the diet 110%. Nutrition is KEY to SUCCESS.

2. Take pictures and appreciate the small & large victories. Look at your back and sides before & after. You have lost inches, don't disregard them because where you want to lose or see results you're not seeing them. You'll get there.

3. Push myself every workout to the brink of failure.

4. Don't get upset, it's only the first 20, 30, or 40 days. A lot of the success stories are success stories because they completed the entire thing. It's nice to see results after 30 days that are amazing but a lot of results come at the end. It's called P90X for a reason, 90 days. INSANITY is a 60 day program, you're half way there...now is the time to really kick INSANITY's ass.
