I LOVE yoga! I can see from some other posts that I may be in the minority on this site;) Any other yogis out there? How do you mix your practice & your programs?

I love me some yoga, I am doing combat right now but I do Yoga X or fountain of youth yoga from the one on one series on rest days. I just ordered the MC Yoga and waiting for that to come it. I also picked up Bob Harper Yoga for warriors to mix thing up a bit.

I do Yoga at a studio once a week I'm fairly new at it but so far I love it. I do CEX and TF mixed in with one day of Yoga I try to incorp cardio/weight with Yoga. I really don't follow any of their schedules. I've been doing Beachbody products for over 2 yrs now. I like to change things alot but still remain focus on body parts. Dying to try Hot Yoga where the room is 100 degrees can't wait on that.

I too love the yoga. It's the main reason why I've been doing hybrids as I love the Asylum series, but want to keep doing yoga. With volume 2 it's easy, I just do yoga instead of the off day stretch.

Feel sorry for the people who don't give yoga the proper chance. So many benefits to doing it.

CoachBumpusBurn - What's MC yoga? I'm thinking of getting the Ultimate Yogi series...it looks amazing!

lovjoy - What type of Hot Yoga are you thinking of trying? My fav is vinyasa but there's also power yoga and bikram (bikram is a bit too militant for my taste but some ppl LOVE it). The heat is amazing and you'll feel completely cleansed & relaxed when class is over. Just be sure not to eat 2 hrs beforehand or drink a ton of water & make sure you take breaks if you need to the first class or two. You'll be a pro in no time! I really with BB would develop their own dvd series emoticon

CoachShayS - Does Asylum have yoga? I had no idea! I've only done Insanity & don't remember it as part of that program.

Asylum doesn't have a yoga program, but it does have an "off day stretch" routine that's built into the schedule so I just do X2 Yoga or Yoga X instead.

I'm big into yoga. I practice at a studio here in LA. Have a couple teachers who are my favorites. I like good level 2-3 Vinyassa yoga and some Kundalini thrown in for good measure. But, really, for me it all comes down to the teacher.

MC yoga is another Tony Horton Yoga disk from the P90X one on one series. I am pretty sure it is from volume 3. You can check it out in the shop tab here.

Me too! A teacher can make or break a class. You must have a great deal of options in LA. I've actually never done Kundalini. Is it much different than Vinyasa?

I've been meaning to check out his one-on-one series. I've seen clips and he jumps so high going through his sun salutations!

Pure Kundalini is very different from Vinyasa but, in practice, they dovetail together beautifully. Next time you're on Youtube search for "Kia Miller" and "what is kundalini yoga". You'll find a video of her explaining the differences. Kia is my favorite teacher because she brings ashtanga and kundalini together so beautifully

"Hot yoga" is generally the term used to describe what is otherwise known as Bikram yoga. The name, Bikram yoga is actually trademarked and vigorously defended by Bikram Chouderoy (sp?) who originated the idea. Nothing like yogis suing each other!

]I have been doing yoga for over 25 years. I do some almost every day still. After my P90X workouts I do yoga. I find it much better on my body if I spend more time doing the cool down period with yoga then the videos of just a few minutes of stretching. I have to be careful with my back so I have been doing some yoga each day for years.

I have done Brikrams and Svaroopa, Svaroopa is a very restorative non strenuous yoga that I find is very beneficial as a balance to resistance training.

I have added another day of the Yoga X on the down day as well.

www.svaroopayoga.org. Here is there website. My wife has been an instructor for years. It cured years of prostate problems for me as well so I don't miss doing at least a little each day.
