Cottage Cheese-One week left in Bulk
Cottage Cheese-One week left in Bulk
nutrition body beast

I am starting week 6 of bulk today. I got one week left til i got beast.
What are some suggestions i should consider when transitioning to Beast?
Should I start stocking up on cottage cheese to eat before bed (for casein)? Im already taking a fair amount of protein powder (sometimes 3 servings a day) to reach my goals, I really dont want to have to take more, so cottage cheese is the way to go, right?

Why the hell are you taking 3 servings of protein powder, eat regular food ffs....
And no you dont need cottage cheese just for "casein"
You dont even have to eat before bed.

Just eat regular food, and dont eat less in beast phase, just continue on a calorie surplus.
Why do you people think you can gain 20 pounds of muscle, and lose fat in 3 months?
It takes years of hard work to gain 20 pounds of raw muscle.

Let me give you some coaching advice.

1. Don't be so hostile to the people you are trying to help.

2. Why not ask his goals first? What if he wants to lose some fat?

3. Instead of telling him what he doesn't "need", why not suggest an alternative?

4. Maybe suggest some regular foods for him?

5. Tell him the pro's and con's of eating before bed...why might this be a good or bad idea? What if he wants a late night snack? What if he's in college and is studying late?

6. Not everyone is an Ectomorph. Just because it may take you years to put on muscle doesn't mean it will take someone else years to put on muscle. Why not ask his body type?

You're honestly the dumbest human being i have ever met, good job being so open about your steroid use.

Ok, Wiicera, I can't get all my protein with whole foods--I am a student keeping kosher, so it is really expensive for me to be buying chicken or meat.
My protein usually comes from the powder, a can of tuna (26g), and a fair amount used to come from milk til i stopped drinking it because i was told the lactase sugars were bad for abs. So what other foods can i get my protein from? I get some from bread, some from cereal, but ingesting 189g or whatever amount it is of protein/day is really tough with whole foods.

Milk isnt bad for you, dont believe that.
Red lentils is a good protein source, 24g per 100g.

So milk is not a problem? People keep telling me sugars is the worst of the worst thing to ever have, and milk has a heck of a lot. at one point i was drinking 3/4 of a gallon of milk/day.

The "sugar" in milk is lactose, not actual sugar like in coca cola.

You are fine to drink milk emoticon
